Hybrids with same fattening method were used in this study and were divided into4age groups (4,6,8, and12months) to compare with han sheep and local Sunit lamb. Variance analysis was used to compare character indexes between different age groups, results of body feature, carcass traits, and carcass meet weight of different age groups. At the same time,the traits of meat quality, amino acid composition, and mineral content were tested and collected by international measurements, physical and chemical. The results were shown below:the bust circumference、bust index and soma index of Bamei mutton sheep were significantly greater than small control groups (P<0.01); the bust circumference、bust index and soma index of Bahan F1lamb were significantly superior compareing with control groups.Bamei and Bahan F1showed that the development status of the forequarters and trunk were prominent.The live weight,carcass weight,pure meat weight and average daily gain of Bamei mutton sheep and Bahan F1lamb were significantly greater than Sunit lamb (P<0.01),superior to small tail han sheep(P<0.05). Pure meat weight of Bamei mutton sheep significantly greater than small tail han sheep in the8month,significantly greater than small tail han sheep in the12month.Average daily gain of Bamei mutton sheep and Bahan F1lamb reach the maximum in the8month.The slaughtering performance of Bamei mutton sheep and Bahan F1lamb were superior to control group. Bahan F1lamb was significantly greater than control group,it showed Bahan F1lamb had benefits in the early growth. With increasing growth months,the slaughtering performance of Bamei mutton sheep and Bahan F1were prominent.The meat percentage of carcass and pure meat percentage, the dressing percentage of Bahan Fl lamb were significantly greater than control group of the12month (P<0.01),it showed that slaughter performance of Bamei mutton sheep and small tail han sheep was prominent in the12month.The cutting meat of carcass of Bamei mutton sheep and small tail han sheep were significantly greater than small tail han sheep.The loin and belly meat of Bahan F1lamb were prominent in the6month. With increasing growth month, the loin、belly and rid meat of Bamei mutton sheep had apparently advantages. The pH value, percentage of water loss, cooked meat percentage and Shear force of test groups had no significant difference (P>0.05). The content of crude protein of Bahan F1was greatest among all the groups. Meanwhile,the protein content difference was especially greater in their age of4month(P<0.05)than the others. Crude fat of Bahan F1was.lower or extremely lower than the other groups. Amino acid, histidine, and valine that Bamei needed were greater than han sheep(P<0.05); phenylalanine of Bamei was comparatively greater than han sheep (P<0.01), and was comparatively greater than Sunit lamb (P<0.05). Difference in mineral content was not great in any groups (P>0.05), the total amount of iron, copper, calcium, and mineral of Bamei and Bahan F1were all greater than the comparative groups...
