Systematics was studied in some groups of Rhytismataceae collected from different pines and Rhododendron which are commom in sichuan province.Conbined with morpho-logical features for classification,and studied on individual species’biological characteristi cs, Finally,using the fungus rDNA ITS region squences for phylogenetic analysis.The main results are as follows:1. The Darker (1967) and Cannon&Minter (1986) et.al proposed classification as the main basis,The Rhytismataceae which collected in huashan pine、yunnan pine and Rhododendron in xiaojinxian,aba prefecture、erlang mountain forest ganzi state and so on were examined and3genera and9species were identified. Some of them who parasiticed in Rhododendron are Hypoderma commune、Hypoderma rubi、Lophodermium jiangnanen-se and Hypoderma cordylines. They are first reported in sichuan province.2. Using the ascocarp grinding method,tissue separation and the method of ascospore discharge obtained7different pure cultures.At the same time,7strains’cultivating characters were studied.Culture characters were studies by observing, recording and screening the choromophotographs of pure cultures periodically. The result showed that there were definite difference in growth rate, shape, structure,and color of colonies and mature period of fruiting bodies in PDA culture media. Few of the species formed pycnidia, and none produed ascomata during the culture. Only very few of them produced coloring matter that make culture media colored.3. The culture characteristics studies of Lophodermium sichuanense and Lophode-rmiun erlangshanense. The influence on the growth of various biological factors were disc-ussed.The results showed that L.sichuanense in different culture medium on the growth rate in the following order:MA>PDA>OA>PA.The best source of nutrition is MA.It can hardly grow in PA.Optimum growth temperature is about24~28centigrade,32centigrade stops growing.This result anastomosis for the best time for each bacterial pathogenesis in June to August.The condition of entire darkness speeded the growth of the colony furthest, this related to L.sichuanense growthing environment is damp and gloom. The best growth pH is5to7.L.cichuanenseacidic.Meanwhile,L. erlangshanense in different culture nedium on the growth rate in the following order:MA>PDA>OA>PA. The best source of nutrition for wort medium,PA medium can hardly grow. The optimum growth temperat-ure of20to28centidegrade,32centidegrade stops growth.The most appropriate growth of pH is5to6, and these are our study of Lophodermium spp. growth habit consistent.4. Phylogenetic tree construction showed that nine kind of significant interspecific difference. Interspecific phylogenetic relationship greater than intergeneric relationshi p.Ploioderma yulongense、Lophodermium conigenum the two strains are together though they belong to different genus, becanse they come from the same host huashan pinus. The relationship between Lophodermium jiangnanense and Hypoderma commune, Hypoderma cordylines more closely than Lophodermium jiangnanense and other Lophoder mium spp..This shows that genetic relationship between the members of Rhytismataceae depand-s on hosts. Different genus will be high homologous rate if they have same hosts. GU138738.1、GU138749.1、GU138744.1and Hypoderma rubi are very similar in morphology, But they have low rate of homologous on phylogentic tree. The result proofs it is right that they are identified as different kinds of strains.So, it is feasible that molecular biology technolo-gy is applied to the classification and identification of fungi.It can overcome tradition taxonomic man-made factors.
