Protected cultivated area of oriental melon more and more big in the north China, but less research on the production technology of oriental menlon in China, therefore, the experiment on different variety of oriental melon in the facility about variety, density and fertilizer. How to improve the light energy utilization, rational fertilization, improve the quality of vegetables have become the first problem of vegetable sientific research workers. The part of the adapatability of oriental melon in the facilities environment use8common oriental melon varieties in Jilin market as materials, density test and fertilization test choice3different pericarp color varieties as materials, research different vatieties under the conditions of protected cultivation, agronomic characters, physiological index, photosynthetic indexes, quality characters and yield, meanwhile, analyze and evalute the different oriental melon varieties, it can give a reference basis to facility production.1. Through the experiment of oriental melon in the facilities environment, we can see, Breed G leaf area and stem thickness were much more outstanding than others. Breed B and E leaves grew slowly and the leaf number got the maximum on July2nd, while other breeds got the maximum leaf numbers on June25th. Breed A, E, G were late ripening variety, Breed C were medium ripening variety and Breed B, E, F, H were early ripening variety. Breed G dry matter of roots, stems and leaves were much higher than others. Breed B got the highest yield. From the analysis, Breed G and E grew vigorously and produced relatively high. Breed A, E and G could grow in vegetable sheds as late ripening variety. Breed B, D, F, H could grow in vegetable sheds as early ripening variety and Breed B and D produced more. Soluble protein, soluble sugar and chlorophyll in Breed B leaves were the most among all. Soluble protein and organic acid in Breed B fruits were the most. Soluble sugar, sugar-acid ratio and refraction sugar in Breed F fruits were most. Vitamin C in Breed D fruits were most. The single fruit weight of Breed G was the maximum, and the rest had the approximate size.2. In different planting density, leaf area and stem diameter of Breed Special Sweet Prince007were higher than others. Breed Big8reached the maximum number of leaves in July2nd, and others in June25th. The root, stem and leaf dry weight of Breed Chuangfeng Crown F1among A1B2C2were higher than others. A2B2C3was the best combination. From the output combination, A2B2C3could be popularized.From the oriental melon photosynthetic indicators among different planting density, Breed Big8was high photosynthetic. From the treatment combination of significance test, A2B2C3was also the best. Chlorophyll was one of the most important elements. Photosynthesis was the process that converted the light energy in to chemical energy through organic compounds. From the treatment combination of significance test, A2B2C3could be popularized. A2B2C3was the best combination. From the output combination, A2B2C3could be popularized.With the different planting density, oriental melon leaf protein and soluble sugar content test showed A2B2C3was the best combination. From the root vigor, the significance test of combination showed that A1B3C3, which used Breed Chuangfeng Crown F1with array pitch70cm and row spacing50cm, was the best combination. Increasing the spacing properly could improve the flavor. From the treatment combination of significance test, A2B2C3could be popularized.3. With different nitrogen fertilizer and potassic fertilizer, Breed Special Sweet Prince007’s leaf area and stem diameter were the maximum under Treatment8. From leaf number, the number increased gradually in the entire period. Treatment7,8and9increased faster and reached maximum number in June25th. In the vegetative period, Breed Special Sweet Prince007applied ferterlizer nitrogen12g and potassium11g each and it grew in its utmost luxuriance. A3B2C1was the best combination. From the dry weight, Breed Big18applied fertilizer nitrogen12g and potassium11g, and the dry weight was the heaviest. A2B2C3was the best combination. From the output combination, A2B2C3could be popularized.With different nitrogen fertilizer and potassic fertilizer, the protein content, soluble sugar and chlorophyll content were the biggest under Treatment5. The significant test of combination treatment showed that A2B2C3was the best combination. With different nitrogen fertilizer and potassic fertilizer, the significant test of root vigor showed that A1B2C3, which used Breed Chuangfeng Crown F1and applied fertilizer nitrogen12g and potassium21g, was the best combination. With different nitrogen fertilizer and potassic fertilizer, the significant test of nitrate content showed that A2B3C1, which used Breed Big8and applied fertilizer nitrogen17g and potassium11g, has the highest nitrate content.The experiment showed that the protein, soluble sugar, organic acid, vitamin C-sugar ratio in fruit was the highest in Treatment5. The significant test showed that A2B2C3, which used Breed Big8and applied fertilizer nitrogen12g and potassium21g, was the best combination. From the nitrate content, potassium depressed the formation of nitrate. The significant test showed that A2B1C3, which used Breed Big8and applied fertilizer nitrogen17g and potassium11g, has the highest nitrate content.
