With the improvement of people’s living standard, the unique nutritional value,medicinal value and health value of adzuki bean are gradually recognized, so its demands and quality are increasing year by year.. A new desease of red adzuki bean have found in Changchun of Jilin province in2010..If the pathogen of the diseases can’t be identified, we couldn’t found the right pesticides to protect the red adzuki bean. So identifing the pathogens of the adzuki bean and finding out the right pesticides to prevent fundamentally the occurrence of the disease are very important for agricultural production. The infected seeds are often the primary infection source of many important diseases, resulting in the occurrence and prevalence of the diseases.In this study, a large number of pathogens were isolated from the seeds, so the detection of bacteria in seeds is very important for reducing the occurrence of the disease.In this study we collected the deseased samples and isolated50strains from diseasead leaf, leaf base, stem, pod and seed. The pathogenic bacteria were identified as pantoea agglomerans based on pathogenicity, host range, morphology,, physiological and biochemical characteristics, sequence analysis of16S rDNA and Matrix-Assistant Laser Desorption/Ionization Time Of Flight Mass Spectrometry. This is the first reprot that P. agglomerans is the pathogen of red adzuki bean in the world.Sixty-six pesticides to the disease were tested indoor by inhabition zone method..The results showed that19pesticides were effcetive to the pathogens in this study. Enrofloxacin, Pseudomonas fluorescens streptomycin+Oxyteracykine90%SPX were the best effective to inhabit the pathogen. Those three bactericides were the preferred bactericides for the further field trivals. Streptomycin sulfate72%WP made in Chengdu and Streptomycin sulfate72%SPX made in Huabei can also be condsidered to test in the further field experment.In this study PCR method were used to detect the seeds of adzuki bean, the results showed that a specific band of1000bP could be amplificated when the concentration of pure bacterical suspension and analog disease bacteria liquid from3.0×105to3.0×108cfu per milliliter,, the higher concentration the more light of the band. The light of band amplificated by the analog disease bacteria liquid was receded compared to the pure bacterial suspension.However,when the concentration of the pure bacterial suspension and analoged suspension from disease seeds were3.0×101to3.0×10cfu/mL, both of them can not be amplificated the specific band. The result illustrated that the minimum concentration for the pure bacterial suspension and analoged suspension form diseased seeds which specific band could be amplificated was3.0x105cfu/mL.
