Scutellaria baicalensis Georgi is a species of Labiatae, also called article baicalensis, mainly distributed in the Northeast, northern part of North China, and eastern Inner Mongolia plateau, which was suitablely in the forest edge, on the sunny slopes, grass or wasteland, it was one of the bulk of Chinese herbal medicines, used widely and largely in China, whose root, leaf and stem have been used as medicine, with the function of clearing and dampness, cooling blood tocolysis, antimicrobial, antiviral, anti-tumor, it could be used for the treatment of fever, polydipsia, fetal irritability embolism. The flavonoids was mainly effective components. In this paper the growth and development patterns, photosynthetic characteristics, production of medicinal parts and the dynamic accumulation and differences of baicalin, wogonoside, baicalein, wogonin were studyed,which were from DingxianHebei, ZiboShandong, YunchengShanxi, Shangluoshannxi, ChangchunJilin, WeiyuanGansu. To explore the ecological adaptability of different S. baicalensis. In order to provide theoretical basis,through evaluating the ecological zones, carrying out the introduction and cultivation of S. baicalensis. The results were as follows:By means of observing at intervals, the growth regularity of S. baicalensis was studied. The grow process can be divided into turning-green stage, leaf stage, bud bursting stage, flowering stage, fruit ripening stage, wilt period. Shanxi, that bud bursting stage, flowering stage, fruit ripening stage, were later than other and others were no significant difference.The biomass of S. baicalensis were periodic determined, stem height, grow width, leaf number, shoot growth, root length, root diameter, as well as root biomass, increased during the whole growing period. Shanxi, that stem height, grow width, leaf number, were significant differences of other origin, its vegetative stage was too long and reproductive growth was too short, than seed maturity was poor. The stem height and grow width of S. baicalensis from jilin were relatively higher than others, which differed significantly with others (P<0.05),the leaf number per plant of S. baicalensis from Shanxi were relatively more than others, which differed significantly with others (P<0.05),the stem biomass of S. baicalensis from Jilin, Shanxi,Shaanxi were relatively higher than others, which differed significantly with others (P<0.05) Stem biomass, leaf biomass, flower biomass and fruit biomass of S. baicalensis increased and then decreased. Ground growth of two-year baicalensi was before early September, underground root growth was after early September.The active ingredient is mainly accumulated in roots, which is used as medicine, Used the microwave to extract the baicalin, wogonoside, baicalein, wogonin, the optimal conditions were solid-liquid ratio (1:20),3minute heating to90℃for5minutes process, By using high performance liquid chromatography, to determined the active ingredient, which was in the root, the condition were0-15min,48%methanol and52%0.4%phosphate,15-26min65%methanol,35%0.4%phosphoric, column temperature was25℃. The peak of one-year baicalin and wogonoside contents were in mid-August, two-year’s decline at the end of September. Correlation analysis, the wogonin glycosides into very significant negative correlation with baicalin, wogonoside(P<0.01).
