As the CAPP technology has grown into mature, the benefits of ithave been confirmed in production, thus contributing to a flourishing development. Alot of CAPP system have come out and put into use, both at home and abroad.Meanwhile, at present, the development of virtual manufacturing technology in Chinahas also made some achievements, the architecture of the virtual manufacturingtechnology, technical support, as well as the development strategies have made greatprogress. And research and progress in virtual product design and manufacturingtechnology have also been developed, with certain applications.Virtual manufacturing is the nature of the actual manufacture of the computerimplementation. It is a comprehensive development and application of the computersimulation technology and virtual reality technology used in manufacture industry. Itis a new manufacturing concept which based on information integration by enterprises.This paper then discusses the overall structural design of the agricultural intelligentCAPP system for virtual manufacturing, in the purpose of achieving the design,simulation, evaluation and modification of the agricultural product process.Firstly,based on the whole to local design idea, use the brand new design method ofinteracting the three-dimensional design, graphic design and the partial tests toconduct the three-dimensional modeling with the soliderworks software for the designof the agricultural parts. Given the above study, this paper provides a systematicoverall logical structure, determines the module of the subsystem and the divisionfunctions. Also, it builds a relationship model based on the relationship between thevarious subsystems and functional modules. Then we use VB6.0programmingsoftware to create the subsystem and system parts information database respectively,and the process database. At the same time, this paper studies the types of knowledgeof agricultural intelligent CAPP system in the virtual environment, the knowledgeacquisition and knowledge representation system and the organization andestablishment of the knowledge base. Moreover, we have the tests and experiments ofthe last functional module, the subsystem connections, testing and experimentation, aswell as the agricultural CAPP system connection, tests and experiments in the virtualenvironment. The development of the agricultural intelligent CAPP system in virtualmanufacturing, compared with the actual manufacturing system, has a higher level ofinformation and knowledge integration, higher flexibility, a shorter development cyclewith faster response. As the computer visualization environment provided bycomputers makes a simple and clear computer manufacturing process, it is thereforeable to conduct a timely and convenient modification or change of the reflectedproblems during the simulation process to make it a better operation. Actually, theseare comparably easy to realize in the virtual manufacturing environment, which willnot result in a waste of time and cost.
