Touring-agriculture is a combination of modern agriculture and the tourism, now it has become a new and hot point in service industry. At present, our country’s agriculture is becoming from the traditional agriculture to the modern agriculture and Touring-agriculture is experiencing a multiple development.In order to make a unified management for the tourist industry and provide relevant information to the tourists, traveling scenic area management department introduced GIS technology to development the corresponding information system. Traditional tourism information system is a simple system based on the properties query and its management of the two-dimensional map, can not take advantage of the intuitive, realistic three-dimensional scene to show to tourists. Therefore, how to use the technology of GIS and the virtual reality technology, Combined with the characteristics of sightseeing agricultural gardens to develop the three-dimensional development of the tourist attractions has become an important research direction of the virtual tour. With the developing of the tourism that based on cultural landscape, people begin to seek for new tourism resources which is full of the science value. Sightseeing agricultural gardens whose theme of the contents are agriculture are coming into being, The sightseeing agricultural gardens which are full of scientific value, aesthetic and social values has developed rapidly.But the sightseeing agriculture that is based on virtual technology and the GIS technology is still in its early stages and not forming a comprehensive system to construct the virtual sightseeing garden.This paper aims to build a virtual sightseeing garden to illustrate its construction method and technology. This paper use weiyan sightseeing garden in hebei province as a example to build a sightseeing garden. Some issues will be discussed as following:(1) First of all, from the theoretical and technical achievements, we did a brief analysis of the research status of The Virtual Sight seeing Agriculture Gardens at home and abroad and summarized of its main problems:①The Virtual Sight seeing Agriculture Gardens model building has not yet formed a complete system;②The Virtual Sight seeing Agriculture Gardens has not been achieved demonstration of the virtual scene simulation and roaming, we had not combine virtual reality technology and GIS technology to develop a virtual tour of sightseeing agricultural gardens.(2) Then, based on systematic analysis of the current research, according to the existing problems and theoretical reasoning, we put forward several key issues to be addressed in the virtual tour of sight seeing agricultural gardens:①The scene simulation,②the roaming demonstration.(3) This paper, combined with GIS technology and virtual reality research, puts forward the overall design goals of a virtual tour of sight seeing agricultural gardens, the overall framework of design principles and design and implementation steps of the system to do a detailed analysis and some screenshots.(4) This paper, investigating the virtual3D scene modling method,develops a a way of virtual sight seeing agriculture gardens by combining topography and surface features and builds three-dimensional scene of sightseeing agricultural gardens, using Google Sketchup as a the ArcGis plug.(5) The system of virtual sight seeing agriculture gardens achieves roaming. Suggestions popularizing the system are put forward.This paper use the sightseeing agricultural gardens as an example, achieves virtual sightseeing agricultural gardens system, we structure topography and surface features of sightseeing agriculture gardens by ArcGis and Google Sketchup software, providing a theoretical basis for development of agricultural information.Sightseeing Agriculture Park will be showed a roaming demonstrated to the tourists so that tourists have an intuitive understanding of sightseeing agricultural gardens. A display platform is provided by sight seeing agriculture park managers, improving the effectiveness of the publicity of the sightseeing agricultural gardens.Implementation of the system provides the carrier for the popularization of knowledge of tourism agriculture. It meets the demand of development of sightseeing agricultural gardens tourism and visitors personalized travel.
