With the development of the economy and the urbanization process, more andmore agricultural water has been used in other areas. At the same time the useefficiency of agricultural water is very low, so, as a result, irrigation water supply isfaced with a serious situation. A research on how to use information technology totransfer traditional water management to modern water management, how to takeadvantage of existing information technology protecting and using water resources isof much value and significance. The key issue of utility analysis of agricultural water resources is the analysis ofthe use efficiency of agricultural water. Considering the large volumes of data, datacomplexity and strict real-time requirement, our work uses the.Net technology as wellas Geographic Information System(GIS) to solve this problem.Related work by others concentrates on theory and methods used in utility analysisof agricultural water resources. However, we have no a complete system in thedomestic or abroad because of many questions. So the purpose of this research is to design and implement such a visual evaluationsystem. Our research is on how to use.Net, database and GIS technology to implementanalysis and evaluation function of the visual system of utility evaluation ofagricultural water resources. This system uses.Net as the whole platform, uses the C#language to programming, uses Access database to store and manage data, and use GIStechnology to dealing with geographic information. In terms of security, we use user name and password authentication to deal withpermission management, preventing unauthorized user and unauthorized operation. The final result of this research is implementation of the visual system of utilityevaluation of agricultural water resources using the above design ideas and relatedinformation technology. At the end of this work, we take a test on this system and findthat this system meets the design target and achieves the expected result.
