The effect of NCG and HMB on growing performance and meat quality in sheep and goats of Ordos.The experiment is divided into four parts:Part1The assessment of nutritional value on test diet of NCG or HMBThe experiment used in vitro technique to identify pH, estimate the production of NH3-N after cultured test diet in rumen medium for24h and estimate the production of gas in48h. The test diet incubated for0,3,6,12,24,36,48and72h by nylon bags. The results were measured the nutrients and rumen fermentation parameter of test diet. The test diet was added in NCG or HMB.Part2Effect of the digestive metabolic regularity on White Cashmere Goats and Sheep in different test diet condition.Selecting five sheep of every Economic hybrid sheep, White Cashmere Goats and Sheep, Wool sheep. The effects of different diet of NCG or HMB on rumen digestive metabolic regularity through total collection of feces in the test diets. The results showed that the digesbility of dry matter were respectively62.08±3.30%,66.33±7.48%,64.03±8.13%and68.64±2.03%, the digesbility of crude protein were respectively71.14±3.33%,75.76±5.15%,73.56±5.46%,81.27±1.29%and the digesbility of neuter washing fiber were respectively47.06±9.88%、60.19±11.63%、58.70±10.62%and64.64±3.00%of Economic hybrid sheep, White Cashmere Goats, Sheep and Wool sheep.Part3Effect of growing performance in sheep of different test diet.Selecting100Economic hybrid sheep of Otog Front Banner,60White Cashmere Goats and50Sheep of Etuoke Banner and80Wool sheep of Wushen banner. The sheep of the initial body weight were respectively25.67±3.66kg,19.88±4.29kg,23.23±3.75kg and34.22±2.89kg. The sheep were weighing to32.95±2.56kg,30.22±3.43kg33.24±3.14kg and45.02±2.78kg after two month of experience. The average weigh gain achieved167±1.78g of Cashmere Goats daily, and other sheep more than180g. There are appeared two stages of weight increasing process, the average weigh gain were respectively,200±3.45g,180±2.35g,191±4.25g and202±3.33g of first month, but the second month average weight gain were respectively153±1.85g,155±3.23g,155±4.15and156±4.11g. The results indicate that the weight growth rate of fist one mouth were more quickly than next mouth. Part4Effects of the NCG or HMB on the carcass quality、meat quality and the profiles of muscle fatty acids and amino acid in sheepAt the end of the feeding examination, sheep were slaughtered for determination of carcass composition, meat quality and the profiles of muscle fatty acids and amino acid. Every area were slaughtered three experiment sheep and three control sheep which the same day age, test conditions and similar weight. The results indicated that dietary NCG supplementation increased meat rate of carcass and intramuscular fat in experimental group sheep (P<0.05), but had no significant impact on wool sheep (P>0.05); dietary HMB supplementation increased the muscle fatty acids in experimental group sheep and goat (P<0.05), and decrease intramuscular fat in goat (P<0.05).The muscle amino acid of all the experimental group sheep had rising trend.
