The long-term traditional tillage caused that soil wind erosion serious, soil quality decreased in cropland north of yin mountain of Inner Mongolia. In this study, through using oat-potato, rape-potato two cropping systems of strip intercropping with stubble under different no-tillage with stubble, and to study the effects of they on soil wind erosion, soil characteristics and soil respiration, to make clear the effect of wind resistant, water conservation, fixed carbon and reducing discharge, to indicate the significance of strip intercropping with stubble in this region, and to provide the theoretical basis and technical support to the wind resistant, water conservation, fixed carbon and reducing discharge. The results were as follows:(1) Strip intercropping with stubble is effective for soil wind erosion control. Crop residues not only.protected its own strip, but also the barely closed residue strip against wind erosion. For the rape stubble, their wind-breaking effects were worse than oat stubble. The effect of soil wind erosion control decreased with the stubble height increasing in crop residues strip, and the highest stubble (30cm) treatment had the best obvious effect on soil wind erosion control. Compared with control group, the near surface wind velocity decreased by79.46%, the surface roughness increased by466.67%, the wind erosion amount decreased by90.21%.(2) In the growth period, strip intercropping with stubble had the better effects of maintaining soil water, regulating soil temperature, increasing soil microbial biomass and soil enzyme activity, improving crop growth, and the effect of stubble strip is better than closed residue strip.(3) In the growth period, soil respiration of stubble strip was lower than traditional tillage, and there were significant difference among different height of stubble. The average soil respiration of oat-potato of intercropping is lower than zhe monoculture, decreased8.4%~11.17%. The average soil respiration of rape-potato of intercropping is lower than zhe monoculture, decreased4.75%~11.33%.(4) Strip intercropping with stubble can increase soil organic carbon content. The straw of leaving stubble can increase soil carbon resources and soil organic carbon content, the treatment of leaving high stubble had the best effects. Because of the protection of leaving stubble. the closed residue strip avoided the losing of soil organic carbon content. In May25, the soil organic carbon content of no-tillage with high oat stubble and rape stubble in0-10cm increased17.66%and22.61%than that of traditional tillage.(5) Strip intercropping with stubble increased crop yields, the best effect is to leave high oats (30cm) and potato strip intercropping. Because the protection of crop residues, delaying the soil productivity reduces, for crop growth provides appropriate environment and realizing the stability of the crop yield.
