Screening Of Early-maturity And High-yield Tomato And Cucumber Varieties In Early Spring Greenhouse

With such a diversity of tomato and cucumber varieties,all the varieties differ from each other ofbotanical characters or yield in a thousand ways. Botanical character,prematurityand yield comparisontests were made through98tomato varieties and86cucumber varieties from domestic andoverseas.Tomato varieties were divided into four types, pink fruit Tomato with indeterminate growthhabit, red fruit tomato with indeterminate growth habit, pink fruit tomato with determinate growth habitand red fruit tomato with determinate growth habit. Cucumber is divided into two types of North-Chinatype varieties and South-China type varieties. We planted all of the tomato and cucumber varieties inproductive glasshouse in winter, leisure glasshouse in winter and early spring plastic greenhouse, chosetomato and cucumber varieties with early-maturing and high-yield characteristics suitable for earlyspring plastic greenhouse in Heilongjiang Province. The results were as follows:In tomato varieties screening, we screened four tomato varieties of Chaojifen19, Chunzao, Obao,Meizuan4suitable for productive glasshouse in winter, three indeterminate growth type of pink tomatovarieties of Chunfen,Jinchuangjiafen and Tianchengjiamei suitable for leisure glasshouse in winter, twoindeterminate growth type of red tomato varieties of LY-006and Hongshuai,determinate growth type ofpink and red tomato varieties of Jingpeng105,GBS-003and Lekes and so on.We screened three tomatovarieties of Chaojifen19,Oudun and Yueguang suitable for greenhouse.In cucumber varieties screening,we screened three cucumber varieties of Jinlv30,Jinlv26and Haza1suitable for productive glasshousein winter,six cucumber varieties of Jinyou30,Aoqi007and Boya102(North China type cucumbervarieties),Lvlong,Lvjian and Baifengjiexing(South China type cucumber varieties) suitable for leisureglasshouse in winter,three cucumber varieties of Jinzao1, Youbo1-5and Jinlv26suitable for early springgreenhouse.By the comprehensive analysis, we concluded that the varieties screened above suitable forspring greenhouse cultivation and promote in Heilongjiang Province.
