Now the main way of corn harvest in our country is that harvest process is divided into three pieces—collecting corn ears, sun-cure and threshing. Compared with direct havest corn grain in developed countries like America, the divided process of corn havest wastes lots of time and energy.Most parts of China corn harvest grain moisture content is higher, and grain broken rate is larger in direct grain harvesting. Higher grain moisture content is the main reason for subparagraph harvesting. In order to solve the problem of China’s corn combine harvester can only corn grain harvest and can not be directly harvested, In this paper, through the research on Grain Corn Combine Harvester adaptability and the relevant test between Grain moisture content and threshing performance, obtained the best suitable harvest grain moisture content. In order to determine optimal harvest time offers basis.First of all, compared with the areas and patterns of planting corn between Chinese and western countries’, a conclusion is drawn that northern areas which is represantative of planting spring corn one crop per year is appropriate to develop the grain corn harvester.Secondly, baced on the influence of the moisture content of grain on threshing capacity, threshing device is designed in order to obtain parameters of broken grain corn threshing process and power consumption by the rate of grain moisture content were studied, and the regression equation was established..Thirdly, by analysing the relationship between the contact force of corn grain and threshing elements and the speed of grain damage and threshing elements, a mathematical model has been established that threshing elements influence on corn threshing and corn grain separation.Finally, through the4YL-6H-type corn harvester harvesting grain field trials to further validate grain moisture content on the threshing performance.
