According to acreage and annual production, corn has become China’s largest grain crops.Corn is food, animal feed and industrialraw materials and its demand will increase in the future.The problem that the corn mechanization harvest level is low needs to be solved timely. AsChina’s rural land circulation and the emergence of new agricultural enterprises such as familyfarms and rural labor force shifting, rural labor becomes less and less, more expensive and, thecorn production costs continue to increase. People have the urgent demand to the cornmechanization harvest. However, at present, China’s corn harvest mechanization is not of ahigh standard. By2013, the maize mechanized harvesting level of our country is49%, but USas early as already has realized the mechanization of agriculture in the1940s, and has solvedthe problem by direct harvest field full dehydration of corn seed in the1960s. Foreign matureexperience tells us that the operation, and standardized cultivation, mechanized production willbe efficiency and effective ways to increase corn production in the future. Grain moisturecontent of most partsofour country’s during the harvest ofcorn is in25%~35%, or even higher.Harvest had to take to subparagraph stripper stripping harvesting methods. The harvested cornears are also required to go through “hanging, threshing, seed hanging” procedures, but, thedrying process of corn ears and grains is subject to weather conditions and site constraints,which consumes the massive labor forces, simultaneously also could create loses certainly andenhanced the production cost. Corn grains collecting machinery have obvious advantages. Atpresent,the domestic research ofcorn grains collecting machinery is less.This article mainly straight received the mechanical compatibility of our country’s corngrains collecting machinery. The principle and threshing method of corn threshing componentsare analyzed. The experiment studies on moisture content of corn kernels and threshing speedand other factors on maize grain broken rate and net rate of removal, and obtains the fittingfunction equations between Moisture content and threshing speed with breaking rate and notnet rate. The suitable grain moisture content range for threshing is13.9%~27.6%. The suitablethreshing speed is2.99m/s to7.77m/s. And through experimental verification of maize grainthreshing, the conclusion ofthe experiment that moisture content affects maize kernel breakagerate is turned out to be correct.The optimum harvest period of maize kernel method is proposed based on maize kernel moisture content. The best grain harvest stage of Shandong province is analyzed, and theexperimental conclusion is that the best grain harvest stage in Shandong province is that themaize kernel moisture content is less than18.3%. Added moisture content of corn grains factorwhich is the evaluation factor suitable for mechanized production to the national standards issuggested.
