In this study, we weed out strains which had the different names within the same species or in different specieses, and we also found a molecular approach for identifying species. ITS consequence and ITS-RFLP technology were used in the weeding. The 367 tested strains which was collected by Fujian Mycological Research Center, were classied into 10 specieses.1.Based on the ITS consequence, we set a ITS identifying approach and did a careful survey to the dismatch of strains to their names.2 . By combining the restriction fragment length polymorphism(ITS-RFLP) obtained from digestions with 7 enzymes AluI、HindIII、HaeIII、MaeI、XhoI、MspI and AccII, the 367 strains belonging to 10 specieses were classified. The results from ITS-RFLP were corresponded with morphological characters. The results are as follow:There is an unknown strains blended in these 7 Coriolus versicolor, 2 in the 66 Coprinus comatus, 1 in the 37 Hypsizigus marmoreus, 1 in the 14 Dictyophora, 1 in the 123 Ganoderma lucidum, 1 in the 9 Clitocybe maxima. And the 7 Coriolus versicolor can be sorted into 3 categories by the result of HindIII digested, 2 categories of the 66 Agrocybe chaxinggu by the result of AccII digested, 4 categories of the 19 Oudemansiella radiate by the result of MspI digested,.4 categories of the 123 Ganoderma lucidum by the result of MspI'HaeIII digested. And we also identify the 6 Wolfiporia cocos as Poria cocos, 1ergot as Fusarfum tricinctum by the analysis of ITS sequences.We take ITS sequence and ITS-RFLP technology into analyzing the relationship between species and within .And we also can tell by the result that ITS-RFLP has good stability and repeatability, and will be guidable significance for fast identification of edible mushroom specieses.
