Objective:To study the expression of PDGFR protein in gastric cancer and adjacentgastric tissues, and to analyse the correlation between the expression of PDGFRprotein in gastric cancer with clinicopathological features.Methods:30patients with gastric cancer tissue, tumor-adjacent normal tissue (awayfrom the tumor>5cm margin negative tissue)specimens of two copies each werecollected in Affiliated Hospital of Qinghai University in operation resection during2010January to2011January, the PDGFR Mouse anti-Human Monoclonalantibody was selected, immunohistochemical SABC method was used for allbiopsies performed immunohistochemical staining, the expression of PDGFRprotein detection. Combined with clinical data and postoperative pathological TNMstaging using statistical software SPSS19.0to analyse the correlation between theexpression of PDGFR protein in gastric cancer with clinicopathological features.Result: Gastric cancer tissue and normal gastric tissue protein PDGFR positiverates were50%and3.33%, there was a significant difference (P <0.001); highexpression rates were43.33%and0%, there was a significant difference (P <0.001). Gastric cancer group in T3+T4and Tl+T2PDGFR high expression rateswere56.53%and0%, there was a significant difference (P=0.01). N1-3and N0PDGFR positive rates were70%and10%, there was a significant difference (P=0.005, N1-3and N0); PDGFR protein expression rates were60%and10%, therewas a significant difference (P=0.017); IV+III and II+ⅠPDGFR protein positivethe rates were66.67%and11.11%, there was a significant difference (P=0.014);IV+III and II+ⅠPDGFR high expression rates were58.14%and11.11%, there was a significant difference (P=0.042). Expression of PDGFR protein in differentgender, age, position, the degree of histological differentiation, tumor size, nosignificant differences (P>0.05), but with the depth of invasion in gastric cancer, lymph node metastasis, TNM stage (P <0.05).Conclusion:⑴The research results showed that the expression of PDGFR ingastric cancer and primary tumors of depth of invasion, lymph node metastasisstaging, TNM clinical stage correlated, suggesting that PDGFR expression would beone of the signs of gastric cancer progression, metastasis.⑵The expression of PDGFR protein play important roles in invasion and metastasisof gastric cancer, and it would be used as one of ideal target for molecular therapy.
