Objective:Through exploring the clinical characteristics, efficacy relationship, and tinnitus efficacy factors of patients with sudden deafness and tinnitus; provide the basi’s for the clinical management and prognosis of sudden deafness and tinnitus patients. Methods:Prospective analysis in Guangxi medical university first affiliated hospital otolaryngology head and neck surgery patients hospitalized with sudden deafness in January2011to December2011. Make cases into and exclusion standard, before and after treatment were to patients completed tinnitus questionnaire, the selection of meet the conditions of the80patents (84eras) patients as the research object. Compared with the relationship that generally conditions, tinnitus degree and gender, age, the ears and hearing loss rate, listening curve type of sudden hearing loss with tinnitus patients; Analysis of the relationship between the effect of sudden deafness with or without tinnitus and tinnitus degree; Comparative the relationship that tinnitus effect and the gender, age, the ear side and hearing loss rate, listening curve type, tinnitus degree, sudden deafness curative effect, the time intervention.Results:In80sudden deafness patients, there were87.5%of them had tinnitus, and the number was70. The average age of the70patients with male to female ratio of1.59:1was43years old. The time between they became deaf and they got treatment was9.6±11. ldays. There were48.6%of the70patients deaf and tinnitus occurred at the same time. There were41.4%of the70patients tinnitus occurred before the occurrence of deaf. There was no statistical differences in the gender, the age, the ears, the degree of hearing loss, and the audiogram configuration between the patients with defferent degree tinnitus (P>0.05). The effective rate of sudden deafness was64.3%. And the curative effect of it had nothing to do with whether sudden deafness compound with tinnitus or not(P>0.05). The curative effect also had nothing to do with the degree of tinnitus (P>0.05). The total effective rate of tinnitus was74.3%. There was no statistical differences in the gender, the age, the ears, the time of treatment, the degree of tinnitus, and the occurrence sequence of tinnitus and deafness (P>0.05). The curative effect of tinnitus was related to the degree of hearing loss, the audiogram configuration, and the curative effect of sudden deafness (P<0.05). The curative effect was better in the patients with slight degree deafness, ascend type, the curative effect of sudden deafness was cure. The curative effect was worse in the patients with very severe hearing loss, total deafness, the curative effect of sudden deafness was inefficacy. Conclusion:The incidence of sudden deafness with tinnitus was high. There was no relationship between the degree of tinnitus and the gender, the age, the ears, the degree of hearing loss, and the audiogram configuration; The curative effect of sudden deafness had nothing to do with whether sudden deafness compound with tinnitus or not. And the curative effect of it also had nothing to do with the degree of tinnitus. The total effective rate of tinnitus was74.3%. There was no relationship between the curative effect of tinnitus and the gender, the age, the ears, the time of treatment, the degree of tinnitus, the occurrence sequence of tinnitus and deafness. The curative effect of tinnitus was related to the degree of hearing loss, the audiogram configuration, and the curative effect of sudden deafness. The curative effect was better in the patients with slight degree deafness, ascend type, the curative effect of sudden deafness was cure. The curative effect was worse in the patients with very severe hearing loss, total deafness; the curative effect of sudden deafness was inefficacy. When evaluating the curative effect of sudden deafness, we may add the curative effect of tinnitus as an evaluating target.
