Treatment Analysis Of Operative Treatments For The Posterior Tibial Plateau Fractures Through Posterior Approach Of The Knee

Objective To study the clinical results of operative treatments for the posterior tibial plateau fractures through posterior approach of the knee.Methods All cases with posterior tibial plateau fracture from April2010through October2011were followed up。The average follow-up time was13months(range,5-16months). There were12males and1females, and the age was from24years to56years(range,43.9years). According to AO classification, there were41-B type in3cases, and41-C type in10cases.Result At the final follow-up visit, bone union was obtained in all cases. The mean HSS score was88.3(range,78-92).Conclusion Posterior lateral approach of knee can provide a wider operating space, and give a good clinical result.
