Objective:The4year experiences of surgical treatments of pancreatic endocrine tumors were reviewed and advancements in pancreatic endocrine tumors clinical character and prognosis were discussed.Methods:Pancreatic endocrine tumors cases which were treated in our hospital were collected from2007to2011. Some of them were follow up.Results:There were20cases,7male,13female, the average age of them was47±17(20-64).9cases began with hypoglycemia,6had abdominal swelling discomfort,and1showed jaundice.Ultrasound was done in all patients, with11cases of showed a mass in pancreas.5cases showed a mass in pancreas by MRI.2cases showed a mass in pancreas by PET-CT.Most common operative method was the body and tail of pancreas resection plus Splenectomy,.5cases were given Whipple oteration,2cases were given local excision. There were15frozen sections mismatch postoperative pathologic findings.All cases were follow up. The follow-up period survival rate is100% Conclusions:Pancreatic endocrine tumor has a clear and smooth border with normal tissues. Most of them have capsules.The successful rate of the operation is high.
