ObjectiveTo know about the epidemic situation of virus hepatitis B in people aged>20years old in Huzhou of Zhejiang Province, we made a seroepidemiologic investigation of HBV. It provided a recent, community-based baseline estimate of the government’s health planning and found hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection high-risk groups. It can find the weak point and important point of recent prevetion, guiding the regulation of government work. At the same time, we discuss the elevated alanine aminotransferase in HBV carriers and non-HBV carriers.MethodsStratified clustered-random sampling in different stages were adopted in this study. A total of15487residents aged>20years old were surveyed and were made blood test. HBsAg, antibody of Hbs (HBsAb), and antibody of HBc (HBcAb) were detected with ELISA method. Alanine aminotransferase (ALT) were tested in all the participants and those who were HBsAg positive and aged>30years were tested Alpha-fetoprotein (AFP). ResultsThe adjusted rate of HBsAg, HBsAb, HBcAb and HBV is6.36%.41.80%,32.77%.34.61%respectively. The rate of HBsAg is7.36%in male and6.06%in female. The rate of elevated ALT was7.56%, with10.90%in male and5.42%in female. The rate of AFP positive in HBsAg carrier and aged>30is4.18%o. In Huzhou City, the HBV positive rate was significantly different in different districts. The vaccine inoculation rate was low, about20-30%in adults. Statistical analysis were performed using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences(Version13.0, SPSS) software. Differences in rate were tested by chi-square test. Two-sided P value of less than0.05considered to be the level that indicated statistical significance.ConclusionCompared with the results of seroepidemiologic investigation made in1992of Zhejiang province, the positive rate of HBsAg, HBcAb, and HBV decreased dramatically. However, the positive rate is still high in some counties, and to change China a low HBV endemicity in the future, vaccine immunization should be implemented in people besides newborn infants, especially in high risk people of those areas.
