Clinical Analysis From23Case Of Cutaneous Malignant Melanoma

Objective To have an initial understanding of the clinical features, pathological features, the status quo of diagnosis and treatment and prognostic factors of cutaneous malignant melanoma, to investigate the standardization of diagnosis and treatment of cutaneous malignant melanoma and individual treatment by combining with the latest international progress of malignant melanoma, thus to improve the prognosis of the cutaneous malignant melanoma patients of our country.Methods Collected23cases of our hospital that from July2009to December2011,these cases were all confirmed of cutaneous malignant melanoma pathologically, and had a retrospective analysis of their clinical features, HE staining and immunohistochemical analysis of the pathological features and follow-up prognosis.Results There were8female and15male patients with average age of58years old (ranged24-84), median age of57years old. There were12cases of foot,5of the extremities (toe) around,1of dorsal palm,2cases of thigh,1of upper arm,1of face. The pTNM stage:stage Ⅰ-Ⅱ11cases(47.8%), stage Ⅲ9cases(39.1%), stage IV3cases(13.1%).To March2012the follow-up results showed that:7patients were lost,in the followed16cases,14cases were still alive,5cases did not review regularly, the9cases those had periodic review show that:regional recurrence in3cases,1case only had distant metastasis,1case had regional recurrence with distant metastasis;2 patients had died,1patient died of distant metastasis, another patient died of second primary tumor of gastric cancer, their survival time were13months、28months.Conclusion The incidence of cutaneous malignant melanoma are mostly middle-aged, main of acral type in China, male more than female and the treatment is still lack of a certain specification compared with the international. For the patients in our country, universal the knowledge of anti-cancer, deepen understanding of the CMM, early diagnosis and early treatment, the emphasis on the CMM comprehensive of standardized and personalized treatment will do help to improve the prognosis of cutaneous malignant melanoma.
