Analysis Of Local Recurrence Of Rectal Cancer After Miles Operation

Objective: To investigate cancer recurrence in the form of miles andfactors.Methods: In our hospital from January2005to December2009due tolow Miles rectal cancer surgery in126cases, all cases preoperatively by digitalrectal examination, colonoscopy and biopsy electron identified as cancerpatients, and from the anal margin closer, not lines of sphincter preservingsurgery, all patients underwent preoperative anteroposterior chest film,abdominal ultrasonography or chest, abdominal CT clearly withouthepatopulmonary metastasis. The local recurrence as the observation group, norecurrence group as the control group, comparisons between the gender, age,the lower edge of the tumor from the anal margin distance, tumor-infiltratingbowel wall circumference, depth of invasion, histological type, number oflymph node metastasis, TNM sub-phase difference between the use ofSPSS17.0package for statistical analysis, t test and x2test, P <0.05or P <0.01was statistically significant.Results:126patients with postoperative recurrence in24cases, includingperineal recurrence in10cases,6cases of recurrence of vaginal wall, pelvicwall tissue or lymph node recurrence in8cases, recurrent cases of12men andwomen who relapse shortest minimum of6months, up to48months, anaverage of21.9months, recurrence accounted for2years were75%of the totalrecurrent cases. Patient’s age, sex has nothing to do with local recurrence (P>0.05), the lower edge of the tumor from the anal <2cm (P <0.05), tumordifferentiation (P <0.01), infiltration of bowel wall circumference (P <0.05),The tumor is located in the intestinal wall to the anterior wall (knee-chest position),(P＜0.01)，tumor depth of invasion (P <0.01), number of lymph nodemetastasis (P <0.01), TNM stage (P <0.01) correlation.Conclusion: Rectal miles of local recurrence and the lower edge of thetumor from the anal margin distance <2cm, poor tumor differentiation,infiltration of bowel wall circumference1/3, The tumor is located in theintestinal wall to the anterior wall (knee-chest position), invasion, andfull-thickness, number of metastatic lymph nodes, TNM stage, surgicaloperation of the device.
