Objective:This study was designed to observe the expressions of the CXCR4and CCR3in clearcell renal cell carcinorma. To study the relationship between the expressions of CXCR4and CCR3and different clinical pathological data characteristies in clear cell renal cellcarcinorma, in order to investigate the role of CXCR4and CCR3in the tumor occurrence, invasion and metastasis, which could be helpful to the treatment of the clear cell renal cellcarcinorma. Methods:We collected human clear cell renal cell carcinoma tissue specimens from65patients, paracancerous tissue (1cm)specimens from20patients, normal kidney tissuespecimens of9cases, Immunohistochemical technique was used to detect the expression ofchemokine receptors CXCR4and CCR3in clear cell renal cell carcinoma,paracarcinoma(1cm) and normal kidney tissue. Using SPSS19.0software package tostatistical analysis of their relationship and the relationship between its expression and theclinical pathological data in lear cell renal cell carcinorma.Results:1. The positive expression rates of chemokine receptor CXCR4and CCR3protein in65cases of the renal cell carcinoma was72.3%(47/65),64.6%(42/65); in20cases ofparacancerous tissue, with the positive rate of20%(4/20),15%(3/20); without expressionin normal renal tissue, its differences is statistically significant (P <0.001)2. CXCR4and CCR3protein highly expression in renal clear cell carcinoma tissue iscorrelated with tumor clinical stage, differentiation, infiltration, lymph node metastasis (CXCR4: P=0.021, P=0.005, P=0.019, P=0.038; CCR3: P=0.007, P=0.028, P=0.010, P=0.042); and not correlated with the patient’s age, gender and tumor size P>0.05.3CXCR4and CCR3protein expression in clear cell renal cell carcinoma tissue waspositively correlated (r=0.405, P=0.001)Conclusions:CXCR4and CCR3protein highly expressed in clear cell renal cell carcinoma, theexpression level of renal clear cell carcinoma is correlated with clinical stage andpathological grade and lymph node metastasis, which can be used to help determine thedegree of malignancy and progress of renal clear cell carcinoma.
