ObjectivesBy the harmonic scalpel in the clinical efficacy of traditional hemorrhoid surgery, understand the advantage of the harmonic scalpel on the traditional hemorrhoid surgery, and provide the basis for the improvement of the hemorrhoid surgical approach.MethodsFirst, the use of philology, the design of research programs; then hospitalized patients according to diagnostic criteria, inclusion criteria, exclusion criteria to collect cases of select III and IV stage hemorrhoids and mixed hemorrhoids inpatients hemorrhoids mainly of120cases were randomly dividedinto two groups, the harmonic scalpel group of60patients, the traditional hemorrhoid surgery group of60patients, the questionnaire to collect patient data and the establishment of a database, two groups of patients with postoperative pain, pain management, bleeding, urinary retention, rectal bulge, analmargin of edema, operative time, blood loss, postoperative hospital stay, hospitalization expense and other indicators were observed statistics t test was used according to the characteristics of measurement data of clinical observation data, count data to a four-cell table chi-square test, the chi-square test of contingency table data, rank data contingency table data using one-way ordered the R×C Ridit analysis for statistical treatment, the P-value; SPSS17.0statistical software processing to analyze the statistical results. ResultThe use of harmonic scalpel surgical treatment of III-IV stage hemorrhoids and mixed hemorrhoids, within the traditional hemorrhoid surgery compared, the operative time, postoperative1,2,7days of pain treatment, anal bleeding, anal bulge, urinary retention, anal margin of edema, the pain VAS score was no significant difference (P>0.05) after7days. History of time, clinical symptoms, blood loss, hemorrhoids off time, the hospitalization expenses, postoperative hospital stay, total hospital stay, postoperative1,2days pain VAS score difference was statistically significant in the two groups of patients.ConelusionThrough the above study, combined with clinical observation, presented the difference between the harmonic scalpel with the traditional hemorrhoid surgery:1, patients with a history of the longer, the higher the incidence of postoperative complications;2, the more preoperative concomitant symptoms, the more suitable harmonic scalpel than the traditional hemorrhoid surgery;3, the harmonic scalpel bleeding volume may be less;4, the harmonic scalpel in patients with pain degree may be lighter1,2days later;5, the hospital stay, hemorrhoids off time of harmonic scalpel is shorter than the traditional hemorrhoid surgery;6, the harmonic scalpel hospitalization expenses may be higher.
