Clinical Features And Logistic Regression Analysis Of Risk Factors Of Nodular Goiter With Thyroid Carcinoma

Objective:Analysis of the clinical features of nodular goiter with thyroid carcinoma, related risk factors, improve the level of preoperative diagnosis and treatment.Methods:The data of583nodular goiter patients underwent operations from January2008to December2010were retrospectively reviewed,526cases of nodular goiter,57cases of with thyroid carcinoma, seven factors of gender, age, nodule number, nodule size, calcification, and nodule traits, neck lymph nodes using univariate and Logistic multivariate regression analysis of risk factors associated with nodular goiter with thyroid carcinoma.Results:Univariate analysis indicated that the number of thyroid nodules, nodule size, calcification3factors related to nodular goiter with thyroid carcinoma; gender, age, nodular echo, nodular internal structure, neck lymph nodes.four factors not related to nodular goiter thyroid carcinoma.3factors related to nodular goiter with thyroid carcinoma line multivariate logistic regression analysis, the results show a negative correlation between the number of thyroid nodules, nodule size and nodular goiter thyroid cacinoma occurrence and development, nodular calcifications and nodular goiter with thyroid carcinoma a positive correlation between the occurrence and development.,Conclusion:Thyroid nodular calcification in particular the microcalcifications nodular goiter the development of thyroid carcinoma risk factors. The greater the number of thyroid nodules, nodule diameter, the greater the smaller the risk of nodular goiter and thyroid carcinoma, conversely, a small number of thyroid nodules, small nodules is nodular goiter the development of thyroid carcinoma risk factors. Fewer the number of thyroid nodules, small nodules, and calcification in particular microcalcification is an important basis for the diagnosis of nodular goiter and thyroid carcinoma.
