Objectives1. A current situation survey of nurses self-learning ability, analysis of the situation and influencing factors of nurses in independent learning ability.2. Combining with the education of nurses, present situation and the nurse with its own characteristics of nurse self-directed learning ability of group counseling program.3. group counseling is applied to improve the effectiveness evaluation of the nurse’s autonomous learning ability.4. reasonable to carry out to improve the guidance of nurses self-learning ability, the education of the method and basis of the reference.Subjects and Methods:The first part, literature research, nurses, self-learning ability of theoretical research, literature review to obtain the nurses’ autonomous learning ability rating scale.476randomly selected Lanzhou City, Gansu Province, three hospitals of nurses. Investigation of the status of nurses self-learning ability, and its influencing factors, combined with the learning needs of the open questionnaire study of nurses.The second part, Current Status on the basis of the study group (two nursing experts, a psychology expert, researcher himself) access to a lot of nurse self-learning ability management, psychology, nursing,science, humanities, literature, the repeated demonstration under the guidance of the nursing, psychology experts have completed a training manual; development of training programs. Researchers I met the inclusion criteria of the study stratified randomized controlled trial study on the effect of training on enhancing self-learning ability of the nurse-based group counseling. Stratified random sample of60A hospital nurse, is divided into two groups:control group and intervention group30. Control group to participate in normal work and activities of the hospital, the intervention group received a six-week, six consecutive training once a week, each intervention time was120minutes. Week in training before and after training, the three time points, three months after the application of nurses’ independent learning ability rating scale for evaluation to compare the training effect. Serious in the training process, training records, in-depth analysis of training content, and quantitative results of the study and the results of qualitative research to analyze.The third part:SPSS13.0software, database, data entry, statistical analysis. The methods used include descriptive statistics, chi-square test, T test, analysis of variance, inspection level a= 0.05.Results1. Nurse67a nurse independent study of the status quo in this survey nurse independent learning ability score were divided into119.85±16.82, nurse independent learning ability better (questionnaire score>135points) accounted for14.96%of the total number of survey24,357nurses, self-learning ability (questionnaire score85-135points), nurses accounted for79.69%of the total number of the survey, nurses, independent learning ability (questionnaire score<85points), nurses accounted for5.36of the total number of survey%. Descending order of self-motivation beliefs, self-monitoring and regulation of the scores, task analysis, self-evaluation.2. Nurses, independent learning ability of influencing factors to nurse self-learning ability score as the stepwise regression analysis for variables, the questionnaire in the first part of the16factors as independent variables into the regression equation "degree", whether to participate in research,where the department, whether to participate in academic education, whether to participate in scientific research, is a head nurse, the income of the seven factors.①Participate in academic education nurse independent learning ability to score higher②Bachelor degree or above, nurses in independent learning ability to score higher③independent learning ability of nurses to participate in academic education score higher④to participate in research nurse independent learning ability score higher⑤matron of self-learning ability score higher⑥the level of income also affects the score of self-learning ability of the nurse⑦different sections of nurses autonomous learning ability score overall difference is significant3. Between the intervention and control groups before the intervention of independent learning ability differences (P>0.05). Intervention group during the six weeks intervention and intervention before individual autonomous learning ability scores and total score increased compared to before the intervention, t-test showed that:beliefs of self-motivation, self-monitoring and adjustment, task analysis, three dimensions score and total score of the score difference was statistically significant.4. The intervention group after six weeks of intervention (group counseling), the control group in daily life, work (without group counseling) six weeks after the nurses in independent groups ability to learn the various dimensions of the questionnaire and score by covariance analysis, the intervention group score higher than that in the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).5. Three months after the intervention, re-measure each dimension of the two groups of nurses in the independent learning ability of the questionnaire and the total scores by covariance analysis, the intervention group score higher than that in the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).6. The open questionnaires situation:in the448questionnaires,358(80%) of nurses believe their own learning attitudes need to change;403(91%) of the nurses busy with work, but also to enhance learning;251(56%) nurses should strive more to learn out;301(67%) of nurses believe that learning should be closely linked, and their own clinical work in order to arouse their interest in learning.Conclusions:1. A self-learning ability of nurses at a general level, in order to improve the overall quality of nurses, nurse managers should stimulate nurses’ interest in learning through a variety of ways, changing the attitude towards learning, the formation of motivation to learn.2. Education, whether to participate in academic education, where the departments, whether as a head nurse, is involved in research income is a nurse independent learning ability of influencing factors.3. The intervention model is formed with case analysis, task driven primarily by the nurse in the group counseling of the ability of self-directed learning preliminary.4. The short-term group counseling can improve the situation of nurses in self-directed learning.
