Background China reported the first AIDS victim in1985, from then on, the epidemics of HIV/AIDS of China have showed a trend of escalation. Up to the end of December.2009, the cumulative reported HIV cases in China have reached379348and including138288AIDS victims and72616death cases. In the period of2006-2010, the heterosexual transmission cases increased from30.6percent to54.9percent, homosexual transmission cases increased from2.5percent to10.8percent, injecting drug transmission cases dropped from34.1percent to22.1percent, So the dominant transfusion of HIV in China changed from blood transfusion into the sexual contact. As both AIDS, hepatitis C and syphilis can be transmitted by blood, sexual behavior and vertical transmission, so the three virus have the same route of transmission, risk factors for infection and high risk populations. Unlicensed prostitutes, male-male sexual contactors(MSM) and drug users as the high risk populations of HIV infection, they can spread HIV, syphilis and hepatitis C to others through the certain risk behaviors. So the analysis of AIDS, syphilis and hepatitis C infection, the related behaviors and the influencing factors in these three high risk populations have an important role in the understanding of these three kinds of disease’s spread in the population. To explore the AIDS, syphilis, hepatitis C infection status and the influential factors among unlicensed prostitutes, male-male sexual contactors, drug users in Gansu Province, this study will fill research gaps in these three populations in Gansu province, and provide a reference for a scientific and reasonable measures to the prevention and control of AIDS in Gansu province. Objective To obtain the AIDS, syphilis, hepatitis C infection status in unlicensed prostitutes, male-male sexual contactors, drug users in Gansu Province. To evaluate AIDS knowledge in these populations, analyze the high risk behavior and the influencing factors and carry out a better behavior intervention for them..Data sources and research methodData sources:derived from the2010National AIDS reporting network of sentinel surveillance system among unlicensed prostitutes, male-male sexual contactors, drug users (mainly about the monitoring object behavior and serology data in14cities of Gansu province about16FSW sentinel.6IDUs sentinel,2MSM sentinel). The data engaged from the professionals in AIDS prevention and control work, and used the method of questionnaire survey to obtain it. Research methods:the SPSS13.0statistical software was used to carry on the analysis, the count data used rate to analyze in detail, among the different groups of various population’s rate were compared with X2test.Result1. In this survey, the average age of FSWs in Changchun is27.4±6.9. Low education level below junior high school proportion is74.7%. FSWs showed a greater mobility that only31.9%of them had been working in Changchun for more than one year. Demographic characteristics except for the age of FSWs had no significant difference between the two types of sites (P>0.05). The infectious rates of FSWs were low. The HIV and syphilis infectious rate was0.22%and2.59%, respectively. FSWs’HCV infection rate is1.51%, with one case of HIV/HCV co-infection. There was one who had taken drugs in the12syphilis positive FSWs. FSWs from small places and at the age group of35year old and above showed a higher risk of HCV infection.3. The rate of condom use during the last commercial sexual intercourse was92.0%, and the rate of consistent condom use with clients during the last month was76.4%. The rate of condom use among FSWs was not statistically significantly Unlicensed prostitutes were6423persons, which was detected in6407persons. None was HIV positive.63cases of syphilis, detection of HCV79patients. In recent months every time sexual behavior condom use rate was69.1%; a recent time condom use ratio was85.6%.Drug users sentinel to monitor had a total of2464people,2463people were detected, with the detection of HIV antibody positive in4cases,78cases of syphilis, detection of HCV261cases, and the recent sexual behavior condom use rate was37.1%; in recent years and fixed with consistent condom use rate was3.6%; a recent years of commercial sex ratio was21.1%; commercial sex and insist on condom use in the ratio was47.1%.MSM have650people,32cases were HIV. HIV positive rate was4.9%,62cases of syphilis, syphilis positive rate was9.5%; hepatitis C have6cases, hepatitis C positive rate was0.9%. The last6months to have gay anal sex ratio was84.6%; the last anal sex condom using rate was85.8%; the last6months of anal sex insist on condom use ratio was56.2%.Conclusion The Awareness Rate of Related Knowledge about AIDS among the Sex workers, drug addicts. MSM are higher, but the proportion of the safety behavior was low. It appeared a "knowing-doing separation" phenomenon. In these three populations, HIV, syphilis and hepatitis C infection rates were higher in Transient population from other provinces than those in GanSu province.so we should strengthen the Transient population management. Furthermore, drug users in Gansu province is hepatitis C prevention and treatment focus groups. Besides, Unsafe sex incidence among the married MSM group exhibit a higher levels, so the Gay’s wife will be the main victim population for AIDS.
