| Objective To observe the efficacy of Tripterygium Wilfordii (TW) in treating the Diabetic Nephropathy (DN) Proteinuria on the basis of controlling the blood glucose, b loodpressure and TCM treatment, and to explore the efficacy and safety of TW in the treat ment of DN, providing a reference for the clinical application of the drug. Methods The60cases of DN (proteinuria>0.5g/24h, eGFR>30ml/min, Mogensen Ⅳ) were randomly divided into treatment group (30cases) and control group (30case s), on the basis of controlling blood glucose, blood pressure, and TCM treatment, TW was applied in the treatment group, adjust the amounts of TM according to albuminuria. T o observe the changes of the Upro,24h-UTP, and renal function indicators in the two gr oups before and after treatment.Results①In the30cases of treatment group,8(26.7%) patients markedly improv ed,4failed (13%) the total clinical efficacy rate was86.7%; while the control group w ere3(10.0%)13(43.3%), and the rate was superior to those in the control group (P<0.05);②The proteinuria level decreased between the two groups, however, there wer e only differences in the treated group (P<0.05);③The renal function of the treatment group was stable, with no differences (P>0.05) while the control group of that progress ed, the difference was significant (P<0.05), and there were no differences in the BUN of the two groups (P>0.05), but Scr difference was statistically significant (P<0.01);④There were no significant differences (P>0.05) before and after treatment in serum albu min and blood lipids;⑤There were no significant differences in the safety indicator sand the overall adverse events in the two groups (P>0.05).Conclusions On the basis of controlling blood glucose, blood pressure and TCM tr eatment, TM could reduce proteinuria effectively in the early DN, slow the progress of r enal function, and adverse reaction is less and well tolerated. |
