Clinical Research On The Inlfuence Of Depressing Qi And Relieving Asthma Acupuncture Method Upon Bronchial Asthma Patient

Purpose： With the guidance of tutor， depressing Qi and relieving asthma acupuncture methodwas put forward by the author. This method contains four acupoints including Danzhong， Kongzui（bilateral)，Fenglong（bilateral) and Yanglingquan（bilateral)，and seven acupuncture needles are neededin total. The depressing Qi and relieving asthma acupuncture method is a kind of specific point matchingmethod. Commonly， according to traditional Chinese medicine theory， the Xi-point is picked to takeemergency treatment of local channels and viscera， and asthma is an emergency belongs to lung channel.So， Kongzui， which is the Xi-point of lung channel， was selected as one of the primary acupoints ofdepressing Qi and relieving asthma acupuncture method. Qi， coming from parenchymatous viscera，hollow viscera， qi， blood， tendon， channels and vessels， bone and marrow， gathers at eight specialpoints called eight influential points， and these points have marked effect in treating relative pathologicchanges. When someone involves an acute asthma bout， the air passage goes terribly obstructed， and thisbelongs to middle warmer energy category in traditional Chinese medicine. Accordingly， qi-assemblyDanzhong point was selected as the other one of the primary acupoints of depressing Qi and relievingasthma acupuncture method.Method： In order to investigate how the depressing Qi and relieving asthma acupuncture methodworks，120asthma subjects were chosen to carry out contrast test. These120subjects were separated asfour groups， and each group had30subjects. There were depressing Qi and relieving asthma group，three acpoints and five needles group， consolation acupuncture group and western medicine group，respectively. Treatment period of these four groups were the same as seven days. The variations of asthmasymptom and sign and eosinophil ratio which was inspected during blood routine examination before andafter treatment were investigated. And a database was built to take statistics analysis with the help ofSPSS13.0.Result： Results turn out to be that all of these four groups have the capability of asthma repressionand eosinophil ratio decrease， and the depressing Qi and relieving asthma group shows a much betterresult than others （p＜0.5).Conclusion： A conclusion can be drew that the depressing Qi and relieving asthma acupuncturemethod can exactly cure asthma effectively， that it has obvious effect on repressing asthma and decreasing eosinophil ratio， and can improve irritable status without any adverse reaction and effect as well. With itssimplified acupuncture selection， specified acupuncture method， safety， dis-adverse effect， comfortsubject position and pain alleviation， such acupuncture method is exceedingly well accepted by patientsand significantly to be popularized widely.
