objective: This experiment, To Research the expression of humanendocellular-specific molecule--1(ESM-1) and vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF) in Tongue Squamous cell carcinoma. Study of ESM-1, VEGF in tonguesquamous cell carcinoma its significance and expression, for clinical diagnosis, prognosis and therapeutic interventions and provide experimental basis. Methods:The immunohistochemical SP method in30cases had pathologicaldiagnosis of tongue squamous cell carcinoma ESM-1, VEGF expression detection, analysis of ESM1, VEGF expression in tongue squamous cell carcinoma andrelationship to clinic opathological features. At the same time in20cases of normaltongue tissue for ESM-1, VEGF expression was detected, and the analysis of itsexpression.ResuIt: The immunohistochemistry stain suggested that the qualitativeexpression of ESM-1and VEGF in Tongue Squamous cell carcinoma wassignificantly higher than that in normal tongue tissue (P<0.05);it also has a higherexpression in III、Ⅳstage than I、II stage of Tongue Squamous cell carcinoma((P<0.05).Cervical lymph node metastasis of tongue squamous cell carcinoma ESM-1, VEGFexpression was significantly higher in no metastatic lymph node specimens (P <0.05).ESM-1and VEGF expression in tongue squamous cell carcinoma waspositively related to it.Conclusion:1. ESM-1showing a tongue squamous cell carcinoma, highexpression of strongly positive, suggesting that the tongue squamous cell carcinomain the event of a process of ESM-1may be its role in promoting2. Tongue squamous cell carcinoma of VEGF high expression, suggesting thatthe VEGF response than normal tissue, tumor tissue that tongue squamous cellcarcinoma to generate the components and vascular endothelial growth factor VEGFis closely related..3. This study suggests that whether the ESM-1and VEGF expression level oftongue squamous cell carcinoma of the clinical TNM stage and lymph node metastasis, indicating that both the occurrence and metastasis of tongue squamouscell carcinoma may have a certain role.4. These results suggest that the expression of ESM-1intensity with the increasein the expression of VEGF intensity and an increasing trend, and show that the tonguesquamous cell carcinoma of the ESM-1and VEGF expression was positive synergy.
