The Repeat Hepatectomy For Recurrent Hcc

Objective:To compare the survival rate of the repeat hepatectomy for HCC with the non-surgical treatment and to introduce the approach of repeat hepatectomy for HCC and the application of LRLR and liver transplantation for recurrent HCC.Methods Articles were collected from CNKI and Medline database with the keywords of recurrent HCC,repeat hepatectomy,laparoscopic hepatectomy,liver transplantation in both Chinese and English from1986to2011.32articles were included according to inclusion and exclusion criteria. Following reading titles and abstracts, articles closely related to repeat hepatectomy with reliable argument and evidence and general analysis were included.Results and Conclusion:HCC is one of the common gastrointestinal tumor. Surgical treatment for liver cancer has made great progress,but the high recurrence rate of HCC makes the survival rate low.Repeat operate for HCC makes better efficacy than non-surgical treatment.And it is accepted that repeat operate for HCC is the most effective for recurrent HCC. As the using of laparoscopic and liver transplantation,repeat operate for HCC has made progress. But the repeat hepatectomy is the most widely used because of difficulty of the laparoscopic surgery and liver transplantation.
