Objective: To evaluate acurately the effects of Fujian tablets, a Chinese medicinecompound that can nourish liver and kidney, on improving the movement function of thepatient with cerebral ischemic stroke,and also to explore its mechanism from the angle ofcorticospinal tract remodeling.Methods: In the clinical research,60patients with the movement function of thepatient after cerebral ischemic stroke were randomly divided into tow groups: Fujiantablets and west medicine conventional treating group(30cases) and west medicineconventional control group (30cases),and then scored the patients before and aftertreatment in the aspects of clinical syymptoms,ADL,CSS and FMA,and then compared thedifferences of the tow groups.In the experimental research,30male Wistar rats wererandomly divided into three groups: sham-surgery group,model group and Fujian tabletgroup,with8rats in each group.A week after surgery,Fujian tablets water solution wasdunked into the rats’s stomach of the Fujian tablets goup,and the rest were dunked withphysiological saline. BDA was injected at the end of3weeks following modelestablishment.5weeks after surgery, BWT was used to evalute the motor function ofMCAO rats; immunohistochemical methods were used to observed the expression ofBDA and GAP-43in the cervical cord of rats; in situ hybridization was used to observe theexpressions of Nogo-A mRNA; linear correlation analysis was applied to analyze thecorrelation between GAP-43and Nogo-A mRNA.Results: Clinical research:Comparing with control group,the total effective rate ofthe treating group reached86.67%in clinical curative effect,and the two groups were different significantly.comparing with the control group,the scores of the treating group inhemiplegia,dysphoria,in chestpalms-soles,headache,dizzy,tinnitus descended obviously.Asfor ADL and FMA,both the two groups’ scores increased after teatment,and the scores ofCSS decended adversely.Besides,the scores of the the Fujian tablet group in ADL,FMAwere higher than the control group,but the scores in CSS were lower than the controlgroup.Experimental research: Fujian Tablet could remarkably improve the impaired motorfunction; as to neurons, it can increase the expressions of BDA and GAP-43, and it alsocan inhibit pathological upregulated expression of Nogo-AmRNA, that it can promotenerve regeneration;a the linear correlation analysis demonstrated that by administration ofFujian tablet the expression of GAP-43was closely related to one of GAP-43andNogo-AmRNA, which can be strengthened along with reduction.Conclusion: The Fujian tablets with the effects of nourish liver and kidney canimprove significantly the clinical symptoms of the patients after cerebral ischemic strokeand enhance effectively the movement function of the cerebral ischemic stroke,and thiseffect many have to do with that the Fujian tablet can increase the expression of GAP-43protein and inhibit pathological upregulated expression of Nogo-AmRNA,and that canpromote the corticospinal tract remodeling.
