Objective: This paper aimed at establishing information database ofpalpitation-related cases based on studying ancient and current palpitation-related cases,and interpreting recorded data through data mining methods such as rough set theory,2test or rank sum test, the non-conditional logistic regression model and associationrule, as well as finding out new knowledge about the syndrome differentiation ofpalpitation and yin deficiency-hyperactivity of fire and prescription composition, andexploring diagnosis and treatment discipline of palpitation and yin deficiency-hyperactivity of fire.Methods:(1) Based on the ancient and current reference materials, database aboutTCM syndrome of palpitation and yin deficiency-hyperactivity of fire as well as herbsinformation was established.(2) Symptoms were treated with language standardization andquantified assignment, and then symptom attributes were reduced through Rosetta softwareof the KDD analytical-operational system based on rough set theory, thus gaining expertknowledge about palpitation and yin deficiency-hyperactivity of fire, and statistics aboutdecision rules of this system so as to establish syndrome differentiation system ofpalpitation and yin deficiency-hyperactivity of fire.(3)Factors with differential significanceof palpitation and yin deficiency-hyperactivity of fire and non-yin deficiency-hyperactivityof fire were selected through2test or rank sum test, and then analyzed throughnon-conditional logistic regression with SPSS17.0so as to establish the optimal criterionmodel of palpitation and yin deficiency-hyperactivity of fire, thus providing basis forobjectively studying palpitation and yin deficiency-hyperactivity of fire;(4) Chinese Medicine prescription of palpitation and yin deficiency-hyperactivity of fire wasstudied. Therapeutic principle was summarized according prescription with high frequencyand drugs with high frequency were treated digitally, and frequency number and frequencyof prescription were calculated with the order of “frequency” in SPSS17.0and then wereattributively reduced according to the Johnson algorithm based on the rough set theory, anddrugs with high frequency were saved; known and unknown drug pair and group werefound out through the Apriori algorithm based on association rule, thus further specifyingtherapeutic discipline of palpitation and yin deficiency-hyperactivity of fire.(5) Datamining results are applied to clinical practice,use of syndrome diagnosis derived frompatients diagnosed,according to dig out the high frequency of prescription and drugs, thedrug or drug group clinical treatment.Results:(1)Establishment of palpitations symptom information database andprescription drug information database.(2) Application of rough set theory to reducepalpitations cloudy deficiency-fire to disease attribute, the results are: Palpitations、Chesttightness、Fatigue、Shortness of breath, insomnia, panic, vexed, poor appetite, mouth sores,dry mouth and throat, hot flashes, night sweats, dizziness, constipation, red urine, redtongue, less moss/stripping/moss, pulse number,thready pulse, etc;On this basis, appliesRosetta obtained172decision rules,(Including136positive rules, palpitations, poor sleep,rapid pulse, dry mouth, thready pulse, red tongue, chest tightness, night sweats, fatigueappear with high frequency) acquired the expert knowledge of the the yin deficiency-hyperactivity of fire diagnosis.(3)The non-conditional Logistic stepwise multipleregression method for screening variables, final regression equation mathematical model,that Fanre, night sweats, dry mouth or mouth pain, rapid pulse, dizziness established modelis the best diagnostic model, test positive predictive accuracy was82.7%, negativepredictive accuracy rate of83.3%, to provide an objective basis for the diagnosis of yindeficiency-hyperactivity of fire.(4) Through the association rules and link analysis toolsFind Chinese medicine treatment of palpitations hyperactivity of fire due to yin deficiencyprescription drug law, Deduced from palpitations hyperactivity of fire due to yindeficiency treated by Nourishing Yin, nourishing the heart to calm mind mainly.(5)Through two typical cases in the analysis of obtained data mining results to guide clinicaldiagnosis and treatment of heart palpitations wang cards.Conclusion: TCM syndrome of palpitation and yin deficiency-hyperactivity of fire, information database of herbs were established in this study; distribution of the syndromeof palpitation and yin deficiency-hyperactivity of fire, syndrome identification andcharacteristics of herbs were explored with data mining technology, and simple, standarsyndrome identification and herbs system, thus providing basis for TCM syndromestandardization and herbs compatibility of palpitation and yin deficiency-hyperactivity offire, as well as providing the guide for clinical diagnosis and treatment of this disease.
