Objective: Analyzing the correlation relation between the general situation,PSG,themulti-slice sectional area of upper airway and Severity of illness of368cases of Han andUygur male patients with OSAHS,offer the helpness to diagnosis of OSAHS.Methods:Check the CT to upper airway of368patients with OSAHS diagnosed by PSG (278Hanand90Uighur male patients).Record the general situation,PSG,the multi-slice sectionalarea of upper airway and severity of illness of the research object, and statistic thedata. Results: The difference of the height, body weight and BMI between the Uygur andHan male patients has statistically significance(P<0.05). According to AHI, discoveredthat the age distribution of hospitalized patients with OSAHS, those are severe patients, concentrated on30~50years. In those patients, the distribution different of the diseaseseverity has statistically significant;According to LSa02,most of the research object aresevere and moderate patients, the number of moderate patients according to LSa02morethan AHI, the same, the age of those concentrated on30~50years; The difference betweenage and severity distribution has no statistically significant(P>0.05);there werenegatively correlation between the minimum cross-sectional area of oropharyngeal cavityand AHI in Uygur and Han male patients(r1=-0.264、r2=-0.216,P1<0.001,P2<0.012);there were positive correlation between the minimum crosssectional area of the orophary-ngeal cavity and LSa02(r3=0.256、r4=0.235,P3<0.001,P4<0.015).Conclusion: Betweenthe minimum cross-sectional area of the oropharyngeal cavity and AHI、 LSa02, thecorrelation in Uygur male patients closer than that in Han male patients; The index ofmeasure upper airway by CT has a higher reference value for assessing the severity ofOSAHS.
