Objective: To investigate the appearance and characteristics of different types of Small Ovarian benign tumors on transvaginal two dimensional Contrast-enhanced Ultrasound (TV-2D-CEUS). Methods:Small benign Ovarian tumors proven pathologically or Long-term followed-up in63cases were studied and analyzed with TV-2D-CEUS. Results:Benign cystic ovarian tumor is characterized by Ultrasound contrast agents perfusion in pericyst clearly and perfusion in septa or in papillae component, within of Cyst is non-perfusion; benign solid ovarian mass can be seen from the periphery to the central perfusion. pericyst thickness of corpus luteum cyst was significantly thicker than the others(P<0.05). The difference had a statistical significance (P<0.05) in the parameters of curve between corpus luteum cyst and others. It is the same as between the mature cystic teratomas and Ovarian endometriosis(P<0.05). Conclusion: There were differences in the enhancement Characteristics between Small benign Ovarians. TV-2D-CEUS can clearly show the enhancement Characteristics, so it seems to be a reliable method in distinguishing various small benign Ovarian, and have important value in choosing the treatment plan.
