| Objective:By comparing to study of the clinical observation on electro-acupuncture and piont-injection intervention therapies, to investigate the clinical efficacy diversity and time-effect characteristics of different therapies on diabetic peripheral neuropathy,and to be intended to seek the superiority or inferiority of different therapies, and provide the clinical evidence for the futher optimization and reasonbale composing of the acupuncture and moxibustion treatment program.Methods:Seventy patients met the dignostic and inclusion criteria of diabetic peripheral neuropathy were divided into two groups according to the random number table in a1:1ratio, but there were sixty-eight had complete material,33cases in the electro-acupuncture intervention group,35cases in the piont-injection intervention group. The patients in two groups used same acupuncture points,the primary acupuncture points are Zusanli, Sanyijiao, Yanglinquan, Hegu,Quchi, Pishu,Shenshu, Taixi. The electro-acupuncture group used the XS-998B electro-acupuncture equipment to treat the patients, and the frequency was2Hz-10Hz-100Hz,and take out the needles after30minutes. The piont-injection group each chosed one piont at the same side of the trunk and limbs,and used alternately,with injecting every piont the Methycobal injection0.5ml(0.25mg).Two groups patients were treated once every other day,three times a week for60days. The aspects of clinical symptoms score,neuropathy score, blood glucose (FBG, PBG), and total effectiveness were observed before treatment and after treatmen for20days,40days and60days respectively.In accordance with the book Chinese latest herbs clinical reseash principle(to try),2002, edited by zheng youyu, to evaluate the efficacy,analysis the dates with SPSS17.0.Result:(1) Both therapies could reduce the patients’clinical symptom scores, and the significant difference of the points was showed between pretreatment and posttreatment (P<0.05or P<0.01);after the treatment of20days,the improving of the scores in electro-acupuncture group were better than the point-injection group,but the point-injection group were better than the electro-acupuncture group after treatment of60days.The time-effect curve showed the electro-acupuncture were quicker at growing effect,but the effect progress became slower for prolonging the treatment time,the point-injection therapy growed effect slowly,but the effect improving were lasting longer.(2) The piont-injection group was better than the electro-acupuncture group for reducing the numbness scores at every treatment time,the electro-acupuncture group was better than the piont-injection group for reducing the painful scores at every treatment time,there was the significant difference (P<0.05)(3) Both therapies could improve the clinic neuropathy signs of the patients,but the effect-acting time was slower than the clinical symptoms;Compared with two groups,there was no significant difference at every treatment times (P>0.05).(4) Through comparing two groups’total effectiveness, the time-effect curve of electro-acupuncture group and piont-injection group were upward trend;the electro-acupuncture group was higher than the piont-injection group after treatment of20days (P<0.05), the piont-injection group was significantly better than the electro-acupuncture group up to treatment of60days,there was obvious ststistics discrepancyand (P<0.05)(5) Both therapies could obviously assist reduce the fasting blood glucose and postprandial glucose levels,blood glucose was controlled effectively within20days in treatment, and up to60days, both groups were remained at good levels, with no significant difference (P>0.05)Conclusion:The therapies of electro-acupuncture and piont-injection all had the common time-effect rule,and showed different time-effect characteristics in improving patients’systemic symptom,neuropathy signs and assist regulating blood sugar. |
