Objective To elucidate the correlation between the pathological grade of gliomas and apparent diffusion coefficient (ADC) and ki-67labeling index(ki-67LI) through Magnetic resonance diffusion-weighted imaging(MR-DWI) and ki-67antigen expression in gliomas,to explore the value of clinical application of ADC and ki-67LI in patients with gliomas. Methods Collecting24patients with gliomas treated in people’s hospital of Bai Autonomous Prefecture of Dali during September2009to March2012.All cases were recruited to undergo conventional MR-DWI test before surgery, and measure the tumor parenchyma and peritumoral edema and normal white matter of the contralateral brain ADC values; and take the postoperative tumor specimens for pathological examination and immunohistochemical examination of the ki-67antigen; and analysis different parts of the ADC value and ki-67antigen expression level. Results The ADCs of tumor parenchyma of low-grade gliomas are significantly higher than those of high-grade gliomas (P<0.05).The ADCs of peritumoral edema of low-grade gliomas are significantly higher than those of high-grade gliomas (P<0.05).The ADCs of tumor parenchyma of gliomas are significantly lower than those of peritumoral edema of gliomas (P<0.05).The ki-67antigen are expressed in gliomas of different pathological grades, the ki-67LI of low-grade gliomas are significantly lower than those of high-grade gliomas (P<0.05).Conclusions The ADC values has a certain degree of correlation with the pathological grades of glioma, it can be used as an indicator of the the pathological grade of gliomas preoperative; DWI can be used as a way of diagnosis to the the pathological grade of gliomas preoperative; The ki-67LI can more accurately reflect the degree of proliferation of tumor cells of gliomas, and it can be an important diagnostic auxiliary basis for pathological grades of gliomas. |
