Purpose: Tourette’s syndrome in children is characterized by a chronic, volatility andmultiple athletic muscle involuntary tics, with Involuntary occurrence of tic and obsceneabusive language, echolalia, which is a complex, chronic neuropsychiatric manifestations.With incidence rate of the disease gradually rising, more and more people’s attention isattracted by this disease.However,we haven’t had a clear understanding of it,which brings acertain limitation in the treatment.But,the traditional Chinese medicine has achived a goodTherapeutic effect.Through the clinical observation of the heart and spleen Decoction in thetreatment of Tourette’s syndrome,the article provides a new and effective clinical threatmentfor the disease.Method:Selcet30cases in accordance with Tourette’s syndrome in children(the Heartand spleen accumulated heat type),and they take the medicine of the heart and spleenDecoction for two courses.The course of the treatment is one month,and follow-upabservation of curative effect is six months.Finally.compare symptoms of the patients beforeand after the treatment.Result:through the clinical observation of30cases, the overall effective rate in thetreatment group is86.67%,with3cases cured,14cases markedly improved,9casesimproved,and4cases unchanged.Besides, No apparent adverse reaction has occurred.Conclusion: the heart and spleen Decoction in the treatment of Tourette’s syndrome inchildren(the Heart and spleen accumulated heat type) is clinically effective and especiallysafe,and can reduces reoccurence of it,which provides a new and effective in the treatment ofit and is worth promoting.
