Objective Evaluate the efficacy and safety of combination of Chinese traditionaland Western medicine or Chinese medicine only on ovulatory dysfunctionalinfertility.Method Retrieve literatures from the English database like PubMed, Ovid andThe Cochrane Library etc，and the Chinese database such as Chinese BiologicalMedicine Disk, CNKI database, The Chinese Periodical Full-text Database andWanfang Database. At the same time, the relevant journals were manually searched,and then select the randomized control trials from them. NoteExpress2.6.3softwarewas used to delete the literatures which were repeated, then preliminarily and againscreened the documents in order to get literature which were fit inclusion andexclusion criteria. Take advantage of Epidata3.1software to withdraw related data,evaluate the quality of the literature, and analysis data by SPSS13.0software.RevMan5.1software was used to bring the relevant data to be meta-analyzed so as tocontrast the efficacy and safety of combination of Chinese traditional and Westernmedicine or Chinese medicine only on ovulatory dysfunctional infertility.Result Indexing out3253Chinese articles, finally,107literatures which hadbeen published were included. Those literatures contain9395ovulatory obstacleinfertility cases, which had been divided into two groups: the Chinese-Westernmedicine group and Chinese medicine only group of5077cases, and westernmedicine only group of4318cases.There are0articles got three to five points in JADAD quantity table,107articlesgot zero to two points. All of the articles are low quality, in which12articles hadscored0points,88articles had gained1points and7articles had got2points.The pregnancy rate of Chinese-Western medicine and Chinese medicine only issuperior to western medicine only; the efficacy and safety of combination of Chineseherbs and Western medicine are both better than western medicine only; the safety ofChinese herbs is inferior to western medicine only. The ovulation rate of Chineseherbs, the efficacy and safety of artificial cycle with Chinese herbs, acupuncture, combination of acupuncture and western medicine, combination of artificial cyclewith Chinese herbs and western medicine need to be further discussed by gatheringmore high-quality literatures.Conclusion We can get high pregnancy rate by Chinese-Western medicine orChinese medicine for ovulatory dysfunctional infertility, and high ovulation rate, highpregnancy rate and low side effects by combination of Chinese herbs and westernmedicine. However, the conclusion is based on inferior quality articles, it requiresdeep discuss.
