ObjectionTo investigate the clinical symptoms of Takayasu arteritis, the common invoivement of blood vessels and treatment methods.MethodsWe retrospectively analyzed59cases of Takayasu arteritis in patients with clinical manifestations, laboratory parameters, imaging features and treatment. T test was used for statistical analysis.Results59patients, female49cases,10males; average age of onset (29.87±14.08years).37cases (62.7%) patients with systemic symptoms such as fever, body aches, and33cases (55.9%) patients with no pulse or pulse weakened, and15cases (25.4%) patients had blurred vision,5cases (8.47%) patients intermittent the weirs line,28cases (47.5%) patients with high blood pressure symptoms; laboratory parameters showed:39cases (66.1%), erythrocyte sedimentation rate increased,32cases (40.7%), elevated C-reactive protein; arteriography or CTA results show:type Ⅰ (49.2%) and typeⅢ(37.3%) more common, type Ⅱ (11.9%) and type Ⅳ(1.7%) rare.46cases (82.1%) received corticosteroid therapy,31cases (55.4%) combined with immunosuppressant drugs;12cases (21.4%) underwent endovascular stenting, restenosis rate was75%.ConclusionThe male patients, age of onset later than women; glucocorticoids and (or) of cytotoxic drugs, which can effectively control the disease activity and improve the prognosis.
