Clinical Study On The Treatment Of Stasis Of Brain Collateral Type Migraine By Toutong Acupoint Cutting Therapy

Objective:To observe clinical effect of toutong acupoin on migraine in the stasis of brain collateral type,as well as compared the advantage that toutong acupoin cutting therapy to ordinary acupuncture group.Methods:The study involved60eases of blood stasis of brain collaterals type migraine patients who were divided into toutong acupoin cutting therapy group, ordinary acupuncture group.there were30cases in each group.Treatment was7days.With the observation points of before treatment, the day of treatment, treatment of the third day and the week of treatment, the two groups of patients would assessed by visual analogue scale, to observe the analgesic efficacy. Observation on two groups of patients before and after the treatment of clinical symptoms composite score and efficacy evaluation,assessing curative effect.Result:The cured rate and Significant efficiency of toutong acupoin cutting therapy group was96.7%, the ordinary acupuncture group was53.3%,the two group comparison showed significant differences(p<0.05).The total effective rate of toutong acupoin cutting therapy group was100%, the ordinary acupuncture group was83.3%, the two group comparison showed significant differences(p<0.05). Two groups of patients compared VAS score on the treatment of the day,third days a week, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05);The comparison of visual analogue scale and clinical symptoms score after treatment showed that the result in toutong acupoin cutting therapy group and the ordinary acupuncture group had significant differences(p<0.05).Conclusion:The treatment of toutong acupoin on migraine is effective, the cutting therapy has a more reliable effect than ordinary acupuncture group on migraine and can decrease the recurrent rate significantly.
