Objective: To study the dual-incision double plate in the treatment Ⅴ to Schatzker VItibial plateau fracture of clinical efficacy. And under the guidance of the three-columntheory to determine the postoperative stability of a reliable treatment method for clinical. Methods: In this study, cases selected from the period July2009to April2011at theAffiliated Hospital of Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine orthopedicward met the inclusion criteria to Schatzker Ⅴ VI type tibial plateau fracture in-patients of38cases were unilateral fracturewhere to Schatzker Ⅴ19cases, to Schatzker VI19cases,18males and2emales, are dual-incision joint with two plates surgery, after surgery toprevent complications, and actively functional exercises. After1month,3months,6months,12months out-patient review, and take X-ray observation of fracture healing, check the function of knee joint activities,1year after application HSS knee score of kneescore, effects were observed.Results:38patients were postoperative follow-up were excellent in22ases, good in11ases,3cases and poor in2case, good rate of86.84%. All cases were between the plateand the host has good biocompatibility. Conclusion: The dual incision of the application jointly with two plates placed withinfixed treatment to Schatzker Ⅴ type Ⅵtibial platform fracture ultimately be able to restorethe smooth articular surface, the normal power line and joint stability, and can increase thefixation strength, to avoid knee inside and outside turn deformity, reduce soft tissueinjuries and complications, and is conducive to early functional exercise and the recoveryof joint function, and so on, to good effect.
