The Comparison Of Curative Effect Of Closed Reduction With Poking And Open Reduction With Internal Fixaiton In The Treatment Of Sanders Ⅱ、Ⅲ Calcaneal Fractures

Objective:To discussion the Pathological mechanism, classification and treatment methods for the calcaneal fractures. Compare the clinical curative effect of closed reduction with poking and open reduction with internal fixation in the treatment of Sanders â…¡&â…¢ calcaneal fractures. To provide the basis of the choice in the clinical treatment. Methods:To collect50cases of Sanders II&III calcaneal fractures from Oct.2009to oct.2011in orthopaedic of Shandong TCM hospital. The treatment group included25cases, and control group included25cases. The treatment group was treated by open reduction anatomy plate fixation. The contrl group was treated by Gram needle closed reduction with poking, and was Cooperated with manual reduction and plaster immobilization and functional exercise therapy. All patients were followed-up6-13months,9months average. The dates followed-up will be statistical analysis, in order to analyze the two treatment regimens in the treatment efficacy of calcaneal fractures. Results:Satisfactory results were availed after surgery in both of the gropes. On the aspects of functional recovery and anatomic recovery on imaging angle, the treatment group did get significantly better outcome (P<0.01); On the aspects of the surgical complications after operation, the treatment group did not get significantly better outcome than the control group (P>0.05), but the types of complication were different; In general comparison(the hospital stay and hospital costs),the control group was significantly lower than the treatment group(P <0.01). Conclusion:Both of the two methods can get satisfactory outcomes in treating the calcaneal fractures of type Sanders â…¡ andâ…¢. But the curative effect of open reduction with internal fixation was better than that of the poking reduction, since the clinical effect could be improved considerablely, it should be the first treatment. closed reduction with poking has some advantages such as small surgical injury, less postoperative complications, less hospital stay and hospital costs. Under the premise of strictly grasp indications, this method can also serve as a good choice.
