Objective:To investigate the dynamic change of levels of serum hypoxia-inducible factor1alpha(HIF-1α) and vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF) and study the correlation ofHIF-1α and VEGF of patients with non-small cell lung cancer before and after interventionaltherapy. Methods:The levels of serum HIF-1α and VEGF in the40patients with NSCLC and30healthy individuals were determined by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) method.Results:1. The levels of serum HIF-1α in patients with NSCLC were significantly higherthan those of the healthy individuals(P﹤0.001);the levels of serum HIF-1α on the daybefore interventional therapy were(49.03±8.36)ng/L, the levels of serum HIF-1α on the1stday and7thday after interventional therapy were(53.46±7.66)ng/L and(60.83±9.43)ng/L,respectively(P﹤0.02);2. The serum levels of VEGF in patients with NSCLC weresignificantly higher than those of the healthy individuals (P﹤0.001);the levels of serumVEGF on the day before interventional therapy were(742.71±113.09)pg/ml, the levels ofserum VEGF on the1stday and7thday after interventional therapy were(877.47±164.29)pg/ml and(1119.00±164.27)pg/ml, respectively(P﹤0.001);3. Serum levels ofHIF-1α and VEGF were positively correlated in the day before interventional therapy, the1stday and7thday after interventional therapy (r=0.506,P﹤0.01;r=0.406,P﹤0.01;r=0.525,P﹤0.01).Conclusion: The levels of serum HIF-1α and VEGF in patients with NSCLC afterinterventional therapy were significantly elevated, and there is highly positive correlationbetween them. |
