A Study About Disinfection Method And The Expiry Date For Oxygen Humidity Bottles

Objective To investigate the quality change of oxygen humidity bottles by themethod of concentrated and dispersed cleaning disinfection after the different reservedtime, in order to provide a basis for the decrease of medical treatment cost and the expirydate and guarantee the clinical experience medication on the basis of bacteria resistance.Methods The methods of spot sampling, bacterial detection and drug resistancesurveillance were adopted to evaluate on the effect of two different disinfection methodsin different time. Results Germiculture qualified rate in the two groups was100%before7days in this study. The time of bacterial colony exceeding the standard wasseparately in the eighth days and tenth days in traditional method group and improvedmethod group, as well two groups data increased progressively along with time variation.109pathogenic bacteria strains were detected, mainly G-bacilli. Among the total, therate of Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Acinetobacter, k.pneumoniae andStaphylococcus aureus was individually32.1%,16.5%,8.3%,22.9%and7.3%. Therates of Pseudomonas aeruginosa resistance to Benzylpenicillin Piperacillin, QuinolonesCiprofloxacin, Amikacin Carbapenems Aztreonam and Cefovecin were lower than thatof k.pneumoniae, Escherichia coli and Acinetobacter. The rate of Pseudomonasaeruginosa resistance to Carbapenems Imipenem was5.6%, and Staphylococcus aureusresistance to Penicillin, Cefotaxime, Ciprofloxacin, Ofloxacin, Imipenem andVancomycin was100.0%,50.0%,62.5%,62.5%,37.5%and0. ConclusionConcentrated cleaning disinfection and non-woven fabrics Packaging was applied foroxygen humidity bottles, which was beneficial for cost saving, storage life prolonging,clinical nurse workload alleviation and disinfection.
