The Impact Of BAISHAOQIWU Aishaoqiwu Granules On Platelets And Serum Nitrogen Oxide Of UC’rat

Objective:The main purpose of the study is to explore the effect of BAISHAOQIWU granules on platelet and serum nitric oxide (NO) of rat suffering from ulcerative colitis (UC) by using experimental study on animal. It is also to explore the therapeutic effect and the mechanism of action of BAISHAOQIWU granules on UC, to provide the microscopic theoretical basis for BAISHAOQIWU granules in its clinical application, and to further provide evidence-based medicine as well as ideas and methods for the treatment of UC in Chinese traditional medicine.Methods:40rats were randomly divided into4groups, the normal group, the model group, the Mesalazine SR granules group, the BAISHAOQIWU granules group. Except the normal group, all other groups of rats was induced to suffer from UC by TNBS/ethanol method. After being successfully modeled, all the rats were treated by directly enteral administration of the drugs. After the drugs were administered for14days, the platelet (PLT), mean platelet volume (MPV) and NO of the rats were measured.Results:1、BAISHAOQIWU granules can significantly reduce the amount of PLT and elevate MPV of rats. It is statistically significant (P <0.05) comparing with the model group.2、Compared with the model group, BAISHAOQIWU granules can significantly reduce the serum NO content. It is statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion:BAISHAOQIWU granules can greatly reduce the amount of PLT, elevate MPV, reduce serum NO content, significantly improve the symptoms of UC in rats, and also repair the intestinal mucosa.
