Objective:Explore bipolar radiofrequency ablation of perioperative serum NT-proBNP changes and clinical significance of mitral valve replacement with the same period in atrial fibrillation. Methods:Included in the prospective study in38cases of rheumatic mitral disease combined with atrial fibrillation admitted to hospital the Guizhou Provincial People’s Hospital cardiac surgery from2011-01to2012-01, according to the different forms of treatment are divided into:Experimental group (n=28) of patients with valve replacement surgery that bipolar radiofrequency ablation. Control group (n=10) of patients with atrial fibrillation as a separate line valve replacement surgery. Admission2-d morning pumping the blood of serum biochemical indicators and NT-proBNP before surgery (To), to enter the ICU2hours (T2), after24hours (T3), after72hours (T4), after1weeks (T5) and after3months (T6) six point venous blood. Biotin double antibody sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) method for the determination of NT-proBNP concentrations. Two groups were compared in patients with NT-proBNP level and the experimental group the successful restoration of sinus rhythm by radiofrequency ablation treatment is unsuccessful radiofrequency treatment of postoperative atrial fibrillation recurrence in patients with NT-proBNP difference. Results:Experimental group in this trial in patients with preoperative serum NT-proBNP level (997.13±305.08) ng/L, control serum NT-proBNP level (1172.41±331.87) ng/L, with no statistically significant difference (P>0.05)3and7days after operation, comparison of the experimental group and control group, serum NT-proBNP level was no significant difference (P>0.05),3months after,The serum NT-proBNP experimental group (1494.01±536.58) ng/L,In the control group (873.86±392.44) ng/L,(P<0.01) were significantly different (P<0.05). Two groups of patients with preoperative NT-proBNP concentrations as a baseline test for all patients serum NT-proBNP level began to rise two hours after surgery, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05) after a days to reach the peak (4754.7±2982) ng/L, began to decline after surgery three days later, a high level after7days serum NT-proBNP level still higher than preoperative. The control group preoperative serum NT-proBNP level was significantly higher after surgery remained higher than the experimental group. The experimental group3months after serum NT-proBNP levels than the control group decreased significantly (P<0.01)..Conlusion:The patients with the mitral valve replacement with the same period in atrial fibrillation bipolar radiofrequency ablation in March of serum NT-proBNP levels were significantly decreased (P<0.01). Preoperative NT-proBNP levels were significantly increased, bipolar radiofrequency ablation of atrial fibrillation to recur. Serum NT-proBNP concentrations is a valuable predictor of atrial fibrillation recurrence.
