In recent years, though some artificial cultivation of Gentiana duclouxii.Franch in Yunnan, but commercial Chinese medicines have been highly demended,and It’s resource cannot satisfy the market demand, so the market mainly has depended on wild resource, while because of the overdevelopment, the wild resource and natural yield of Gentiana duclouxii.Franch has deduced rapidely. For that,this study is to find out the new medical resources of Gentiana duclouxii.Franch,and for more proper application of medical resources,so based on which, exploration on Pharmacognosy,quality standard,acute and toxicity test of Gentiana duclouxii. Franch from three producing areas and partial of its pharmacodynamics have been carried out.Source,morphological,microscopic identification and physical and chemical identification have been employed in this study to carefully observe root,rhizome,cross section leaves and powder of Gentiana duclouxii. Franch.And identification of Gentiana duclouxii.Franch from three places,including Mopan mountain in Xinpin,Tadian village in Eshan county,Bald mountain in Xinhua,have been employed with TLC,and morphological,microscopic identification showed that Gentiana duclouxii.Franch from different places had little diffefences.To provided the use of Gentiana duclouxii.Franch with theory basis, the entiamarin contents of Gentiana duclouxii.Franch from three different places have been detected by HPLC with gentiamarin as standard,which showed entiamarin contents of all these Genliana duclouxii.Franch from three places were higher than the regulation,which demonstrated entiamarin content had to be beyond1.5%,from Pharmacopoeia of the People’s Republic of China(2010).And extractive substances,water and ash content and heavy metal form these Gentiana duclouxii.Franch have also been detected.The toxicity test showed administration with maximum magnitude was66.8g crude drug/kg which was401times more than clinical use(10g in clinic),which showed that Gentiana duclouxii.Franch in clinical use was safe.Analgesic,mouse ear swelling tests by xylene and test of acute liver injury in mice by ccl4have been applied to provide use of Gentiana duclouxii.Franch with partial basis of pharmacodynamics.The results showed that Gentiana duclouxii.Franch had the effects on decreasing writhing times of mice by acetic acid,depressing degree of ears swelling in mice and decrease the levels of ALT,AST in the test of acute liver injury in mice by ccl4,which showed the same pharmacological effects with relative recorded entiamarin.
