Trollius chinensis Bunge(Ranunculaceae) clearing heat and expelling toxin, which is treated tonsillitis, larynx edema, acute enteritis and ulcer in folk. In recent years, the total flavonoids of Trollius chinensis are active ingredients, which are broadly used curing acute suppurative tonsillitis,upper respiratory trac t infection, pharyngitis, acute enteritis and acute bronchitis ect.As a good antibacterial drug, Trollius chinensis Bunge has been affirmed and the effect notable. with the constant upgrading of its medicinal value, Trollius chinensis Bunge rise in the demand for medicines.But over-havesting and non-sophisticated methods of artificial cultivation leads to the medicine increasingly scarce and the yield decreased year by year. Therefore, the problem which new resource are looked for substitute of Trollius chinensis Bunge has been solved urgently.Trollius ledebourii Reichb.which widely is distributed in the size of the Xingan mountain area belongs to other plants of Trollius. The study as Trollius ledebourii Reichb.and gentamicin positive control drugs is investigated to chemical composition, pharmacodynamics and quality control standard of Trollius ledebourii Reichb.The study on the chemical composition is showed the composition of Troll ius ledebourii Reichb.and Trollius chinensis Bunge.which contain flavonoids,gly cosides, alkaloids, volatile oils, tannin and organic acids is the same; the study on the extraction process of the main activity total flavone content showed wh en extracted by70%ethanol for3times, each time2h and20times the volu me of ethanol, the extraction rate is the highest;3structures of the compounds are isolated and identificated.Orientin,vitexin,7-methoxy-2"-0-(2’"-methybutyryl) vitexin respectively.The bacteriostasis experiment is the Gentamicin as positive drug, water ext ract, alcohol extract and its organic solvent extraction part of Trollius ledebouri i Reichb.owe the inhibition effect of Staphylococcus aureus, Shigella flexneri, E scherichia coli, Streptococcus pneumoniae and Pseudomonas aeruginosa and so on. Trollius ledebourii Reichb. and Trollius chinensis Bunge inhibitory rate on Staphylococcus are73.18%,90.79%, inhibitory rate on Pseudomonas aeruginosa are98.53%,75.57%; the butyl alcohol of Trollius ledebourii Reichb. and Trolliu s chinensis Bunge. inhibitory rate on Escherichia coli are75.33%,63.67%; inhib itory rate on Pneumococcal are98.53%,75.57%; inhibitory rate on Shigella dys entery bacilli are85.70%,76.09%. description of ethyl acetate and n-butanol lay er antibacterial effect is good.The anti-inflammatory experiments of Trollius ledebourii Reichb.is the blan k group as reference, the Inhibition rate of ethyl acetate and n-butanol layer gr oups on Ear edema in mice are41.12%,38.79%respectively; the Analgesic exp eriments of Trollius ledebourii Reichb.is the blank group as reference, the Inhib ition rate of ethyl acetate and n-butanol layer groups on Acetic acid-induced w rithing response are28.73%,28.51%; when the analgesic experiments as blank g roup;the effect on hydroxyl free radical EC50of the butyl alcohol and ethyl ac etate of Trollius ledebourii Reichb. water and alcohol extractions are1.36mg/m L,0.83mg/mL,0.12mg/mL,0.30mg/mL respectively.The elimination rate of Trollius ledebourii Reichb. water and alcohol extractions are90.97%,72.26%respectively on [DPPH]. The result shows anti-inflammatory, analgesic and antioxidation e ffect of Trollius ledebourii Reichb. is good.By the Pharmacognosy study, Trollius ledebourii Reichb. is determined the features of microscopic and chemical identification. By the total flavonoids and orientin as the evaluation index,the total flavonoid content of different areas and growth periods are determined by UV. The results showed that the total flavonoids content highest of13.415%in Inner Mongolia’s Xilingol area, and the total flavonoids content highest of blooming highest,the total flavone content lowest of decline period of blooming. The fingerprint of Trollius ledebourii Reichb. is total to17peaks by HPLC and provids a reference for the control of quality to Trollius ledebourii Reichb.The study provides scientific basis for the feasibility of Trollius ledebourii Reichb. as drugs.
