Clinical Research On The Effects Of Xuesaitai On Acute Cerebral Infarction (Fengtanyuzu Style)

Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of XueSaiTai on acute cerebral infarction (Fengtanyuzu Style) and its influence on fibrinolytic indexes, tissue type Plasminogen activator (t-PA) and issue type plasminogen activator inhibitor-1(PAI-1)Methods:According to the Doll’s clinical random table method, sixty patients with acute cerebral infarction (Fengtanyuzu Style) were randomly divided into a treatment group and the control group,30cases in each group. Control group of acute cerebral infarction are treated with conventional western medicine, such as:buck, defibrase, neurotrophic, anti-platelet aggregation. Treatment group are treated with XueSaiTaion on the basis of conventional Western medicine. The course of treatment in both groups is four weeks and one course was observed. The integral of syndrome of Traditional Chinese Medicine, the score of neurological deficit and the evaluation of ability of daily life were compared in both groups before and after treatment. Meanwhile, the changes of plasma t-PA and PAI-1were compared too. Results:After treatment, three indexes above were improved significantly in each group (P<0.01) and treatment group was better than control group (P<0.05); After treatment, the efficacy of TCM symptoms were93.33%and70%in the treatment group than the control group (P<0.05). Two groups of patients the after clinical efficacy were90%and66.7%in the treatment group than the control group (P<0.05).Plasma t-PA and PAI-1were better in each group and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.01). Meanwhile, the treatment group was better than control group, and the difference was statistically significant too (P<0.01or P<0.05).Conclusion:XueSaiTai is safe and effective for the treatment of acute cerebral infarction and the clinical efficacy is better than control group. XueSaiTai can improve clinical symptom, quality of life, the evaluation of ability of daily life, Plasma t-PA and can reduce the integral of syndrome of TCM, the score of neurological deficit, Plasma PAI-1.XueSaiTai can change the activity of Plasma t-PA and PAI-1, which maybe the main reason of the remarkable clinical efficacy of XueSaiTai.
