The Clinical Observation Of Xintongttai In The Treatment Of Unstable Angina Pectoris Of Qi Stagnation And Blood Stasis Type

Objective:To observe the curative effect of the XinTongTtai Granule in the treatment of unstable angina pectoris (stagnation of Qi and blood stasis type)and its effect on calcitonin gene related peptide(CGRP).Methods:Sixty patients with unstable angina pectoris(stagnation of Qi and blood stasis type) were randomly divided into treatment group ande control group.The control group received conventional therapy, the treatment group was given conventional therapy with XinTongTai added. Four weeks form a course of one treatment. The observation is based on one course.Results:The results showed the improvement of treatment group over control group in many aspects, such as angina attack frequency,the duration of pain, the detree of pain, the usage of nitroglycerin, the changes of ECG, myocardial oxygen consumption, TCM syndrome, CGRP(P<0.05). In addition to the difference between the therapeutic effect of the two groups in TCM syndromes of dark purple lips and tongue, pulse is not obvious. The others showed that the treatment group were significantly better than the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:The treatment of XinTongTai Granule adding into the conventional therapy was more effective than the pure western medicine in treating patients of unstable angina pectoris (stagnation of Qi and blood stasis type). Conventional therapy with XinTongTai also has a certain improving effect on the calcium in blood of CGRP content.
